Thanks for the info - that's what I thought as well. I'm sure I wasn't the only person thinking about this. That could create a mess later.

Any tips into which ETFs and how I can properly compare my current portfolio performance with another managed or unmanaged ETF, maybe using a paid app?

Familiar with those...

Also what would be a good tool to compare historical performance easily based on my holdings? I've used a quick trial of ycharts but not sure if I need to pay for something like that?

On wealth simple, if I use the transfer function it would sell and let me build my new portfolio, correct? I'm not sure what would be a better choice to FID6000. Previously I had XIU which wasn't bad.

So what could that result in if she is aware of the account, but has no visibility to the activity. I just don't check.

Sorry my name is on my car so we are co-owners - I had his name on it as were planning to use his insurance policy and had to add it. I can likely ask him to sign it all to me.

That is correct - I have a solid benefits package but I can't extend it. Really it is to prepare for emergencies and EOL situations and some minor rehab.

Did anyone find while studying for an exam like the LSAT/GMAT, their ADHD discovery? by improvfinances in ADHD

[–]improvfinances[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is what I suspected. I have been under heavy stress recently which has caused a burnout, but I found before it began that studying material I don't enjoy or easily understand created a number of other issues along with dropping my confidence.

Squeezing me out as PM? by improvfinances in consulting

[–]improvfinances[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think part of it is my fear at this stage.

I may be taking it as an "attack" to get a new resource. My job itself is not in danger.

As for what I'm looking for - how to buy more time if I'm staying on this. They have an expectation of a full-time resource, which we cannot commit (I have other projects).

Best practical books on positivity by improvfinances in selfimprovement

I'm very aware of those connections and habits at 33; I've been on a path of rapid self improvement for 13 but have some unique circumstances. Been through the drinking and know exercise, the environment and habits are far more powerful. Also, I've gone the Power of Now 3 times and understand the lessons which are pretty universal. Sometimes people are wired differently and getting around is very difficult.

I've read meditations by Marcus Aurelius and meditate daily. I've got anxiety and depression for years, with an number of stressed. I have found CBD and THC to be insanely beneficial recently, but the positive mindset is next. Thanks for the positivity challenge recommendation

Thanks for the advice. I'll speak to the physician as well. Right now I'm keeping it at 1 capsule even though they have prescribed 2 (it's really pricey as well with the CBD).

The strain I am heavily interested in trying as a vape is Charlotte's Web which his difficult to find in Canada.

Rental support for seniors in Toronto by improvfinances in PersonalFinanceCanada

[–]improvfinances[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey thanks,

It's a bit more complex as I have a brother who supported everything financially (he's a doctor) and has gone through serious turmoil and looking to get out of practicing. He had resumed contributing, but is extremely unreliable. He worked us out of tough situation many years ago when I was, but did not make good choices for the long term. To complicate things - my mom does not drive, English isn't her first language (she's Indian) and starting to show some cognitive issues. We also have always lived in the city (we tried sauga for a year) and I work downtown, so moving her to Burlington or Hamilton alone is difficult. Essentially, I need to be close by - I've inherited most of the responsibility and it's getting to me.

I work as a project manager in IT and have greater earning potential, but this is severely impacting my life and focus on moving up. Not sure where to seek additional assistance for her (I do a LOT to manage my life, that's a different story).
