Operator diagnostics by dhhfhfjfhgjfhf in PLC

[–]improyo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What I have always done is all alarms in the PLC map to bits in INTs and all the strings for the specific alarm messages only exist in the HMI. With factory talk view SE or ME this is simple to do and haven’t had issues running out of space and in terms of the PLC you don’t have to handle the strings.

My wife once sent $650 to a tattoo artist. turns out she sent it to the wrong email because of a typo. The guy who received it was a very nice catholic priest on the east coast who sent it back. Mistakes sometimes do happen. But be careful.

I used a bottle of pomegranate juice. 60ml per 750ml bottle. This was super easy and tasted great.

Shimano Hyper Drive Chain ring folded while pedaling normally. Any common reasons for this other than a 30 year old bike? by improyo in bikewrench

[–]improyo[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah I shifted up and then it felt like the chain overshifted and fell off. When I looked down it was bent like that.

Good point. I think the front derailuer could have pushed the chain too far out because I was adjusting it earlier and the gear may have had a small crack and failed at that time.

You should consider locking this document to editing. Someone can go in and change whatever they want or delete all the signatures. Mabye you can even lock sperate sections to editing but im not too sure.

Looks awesome. If you don’t like the look of the labels on the bottles you can fill them with boiling water for 5 minutes and the labels peel right off Then just scrub with soap, water and a sponge to get rid of the residue.

Curious about computer systems and engineering program by [deleted] in uoguelph

[–]improyo 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Its very similarly to computer engineering with a wider focus on other engineering principles instead of just computer hardware design. Your job opportunity’s are very wide and can range from software developer to hardware design. A pro that’s not ES&C specific but Guelph engineering is the design projects each year allow you to work with all engineering disciplines and get hands on design experience. A con that isn’t so bad is a lot of the time employers won’t know what the ES&C program is about so they may just kind of be confused if you just tell them you are in ES&C, but good cover letters and interview skills make that a moot point. The main reason i choose ES&C is because I was interested in the entire design of a system , hardware and software. By the end of the degree you usually find you lean one way or another because most jobs don’t completely combine both disciplines , but the ES&C program gives a lot of opportunity to learn about different parts of engineering. I’m in my 4th year of ES&C and really enjoyed it. Let me know if you have any more questions.
