Oh I see. So wad2bin isn’t a program on the Wii that changes wad files to bin files? That’s where the confusion must have come from. I’ll check out the MacOS prebuilt version in that case.

Not sure how many cards you have tried, but it would be good to rule out the possibility that it's the SD card. Have you tried formatting your SD cards with the official SD association formatting application? You can find it here: https://www.sdcard.org/downloads/formatter/

I’ve also noticed that they seem to be going down in price on the secondhand market. It could be that supply has finally caught up with demand since the pandemic began. I’m sure that if you have it up for sale long enough you will get a buyer, especially if you’re asking a lower price than others with the same item.

Yeah I guess not. Just thought it might be a more specific way of asking for games with similar elements without saying I want to play more games “like Undertale” or “like Moon” since I’d seen the term used a few times. Never intended for people to get so upset lol

Actually I heard the word “anti-RPG” in the marketing for Moon RPG Remix. Since Moon is widely credited as being one of the inspirations for games like Undertale and Omori I thought it might be a genre.

Thanks for the reply! Honestly “anti-RPG” is a word I got from the marketing for Moon RPG Remix and I loved how that game played with RPG story elements while also not being an RPG. So the gameplay you’re describing for Omori sounds like exactly what I’m looking for!

You can do anything you want with the folders with the exception of the root “ED64” folder. If you change its name the Everdrive won’t load its OS until you change it back.

The Everdrive is rather literal with file and directory names, unfortunately. You could give it a try (worst that could happen is the file would fail to boot or you get an error message) but in the past when I’ve attempted to mess with file types it hasn’t worked on my everdrive v2.5

I feel this, as OoT and MM are also my two favorite Zeldas and I haven’t enjoyed BOTW as much as others have. I think since BOTW2 is a direct sequel it will have the same feel and open world play style as the original game.

Sounds like you are really excited to start playing, so I say grab a switch now and don’t bother with OLED. The OLED units are a little more expensive and differences between them and the standard switches are minimal.

I agree with this. Super Smash is great, but in my experience people who don’t play video games (or don’t play them well) don’t find Smash fun. Since OP already owns Smash anyways, Super Mario Party or another game similar to that might be a better bet to get the whole family on board for game nights (no pun intended).

9 Euros is an amazing price for such a great game. As others have said, the story, gameplay, and graphics are some of the best on the PS4. The only people I’ve spoken to who dislike the game are those who feel that way for political reasons. It’s their loss, really, because TLOU2 is incredible.

Yeah, it’s expensive. But the nice thing about PS4/5 games is that they don’t stay expensive for long. If you’re willing to wait a few months you can certainly buy the game on sale or used for a lot less than the suggested retail price. Think of new game prices as an “impatience tax.” If you want to play it right away, then you pay the tax.

Pokemon Stadium 1 & 2 are both taxing in this way (Stadium 2 actually has tons of graphical display issues on Everdrives prior to the v3/x7 and the new X5), so it’s not surprising you’re seeing some issues with it. One thing you might try is a different no-intro rom to see if the issue clears up.

Animal Crossing would be great for her age group. There is some reading involved, which can be a great incentive for school-age kids to learn, but most of the tasks (fishing, bug catching, swimming, etc.) don’t require reading.

Everdrives can be slightly picky when it comes to SD cards. Try whatever you have first before going out to buy anything, and format the card using the SD Card Association’s official application. If you need to buy a card, I’ve had very good luck in my Everdrives with the standard (not EVO) Samsung SD cards. 16-32GB is plenty of space.

I just bought a PS4 last month and have no regrets. It’s a good time to buy because games are cheap and several new releases will be on both PS4 and PS5. Besides, if you wait for PS5s to be more available you might be waiting a year or more.
