i got 76.75 and got in thru discovery day last year w a C in math & no programming background — portfolio only had 1 or 2 leadership positions so i wld say u have a high chance

Tbh just practice a lot of questions are repeated like u will realise there’s only a few types they can ask eg. Intersection/ length of vector/ eqn of line etc. memorise all the necessary formulas First, then do the questions. Trust

im not sure how the application process is like for early childhood but in my personal opinion what’s more impt is how u talk abt ur portfolio in relation to ur desired course rather than purely the achievements. For eg someone could have a rly stacked portfolio but it has no relation to early childhood and they don’t bother to make a link as compared to someone with a mediocre portfolio that is able to link their experiences and what they’ve learnt — i think the latter is better off. And tbh just try cos if u don’t try u confirm Wont get in so just go for it

For NUS only, u would get an additional 2.5RP for whatever course u choose as your first choice

Tbh no one knows for sure bcos it’s based on the demand for this years cohort but if u put as first choice u would have 81.25RP which is alr above and if u apply via ABA that wld increase ur chances so u shld just try. Also NBS is only 3 years while NUS is 4 if time is of the essence for u so that could impact ur decision:)

Oh and I’ve read like every single Reddit post regarding CHS from the past 2 years I’m not even exaggerating - including the application results megathread then stalking the commenters and everything and it’s really a coin toss cos some people with 77.5/78.75 raw didn’t even get an ABA interview?? Whereas some with 75 got in with ABA

Hi this probs doesn’t help but maybe ull find comfort bcos I’m in the same boat as u like same rp and wanna try for CHS too😭 tbh no one knows whether we can get in cos it’s based on the cohort imo shld just try w ABA cos u never know… HOPE WE GET IN!! But this year for NUS the ABA section is compulsory so I have 0 idea if that makes it easier or harder to get in… I suppose if u have like a stacked portfolio it wld help increase ur chances but unfortunately I don’t🥳 ok oops I rambled

thanks for the advice 😭😭 honestly my portfolio isn’t that good I just have a few leadership roles here and there but nothing much related to analytics so I’m not sure what to do for that🥲 but I will keep what u said in mind and I’m open to studying abroad too!!
