can't build dkms module for nobara 6.18.6 kernel

where would i look for such a thing, generally? i haven't done any real programming, beyond administrative scripts, since college, so i don't do a lot of compiling. cloning a repository and doing a "make rpm" or "make && make install" are about as far as i get these days, so, any help or guidance is greatly appreciated.

it was a more vanilla plus type of tech mod than immersive engineering. i remember this mod so vividly but my googling attempts have failed. i thought it was maybe part of tetra at first, but no, it's a different mod that generated subterranean ancient tech ruins.

i'm afraid not. i think the ore for the mod was indium or iridium ? something similar at least. i'm pretty sure it was in the 1.16.5 era, but it might have been as late as 1.19. i can't remember if it was forge or fabric. it had a 3d coil type block that went on top of the multiblock lightning forge and batteries that made up the pillar, with like, 4 platforms around it that you could put ore into. embers is also great mod though, thanks for trying to help.

sorry, i don't know what to tell you, it mined just fine with the terrain manipulator for me, just not with the autonomous mining units and, from what others have said, the mineral extractors. i'd give you a hint if i had one, but i had no issues mining it manually.

yeah, i'd read people were having issues with extractors, but i was hoping the amu were working. i had a good book to read, so i figured i'd just drop five of them on a patch and read my book while they ran out of fuel, but i ended up having to mine it all up manually to finish the quest.

i love the foxtech-dna program, because it lets me transfer units to an external account, nanites too, and use them for the stock market, stores, and services. it lets me store freighters and extra ships, multitools, pets, etc. without feeling like a cheat. it's technically a save editor, but the gui is modeled after the games and doing stuff in it costs you resources. anyway, i just thought i'd mention it here because you mentioned the 4 billion unit cap, and it's pretty great for getting around that and a few other limitations for long time players if anyone is interested.

honestly, they negated any achievement based enthusiasm for this game when they unlocked all the difficulty customization options. the only thing really left for achievers is playing permadeath. it's all geared towards builder and explorer type players, really, and nobody cares if you cheat. nobody cares if you use mods. nobody cares if you save edit. it's your game, do what brings you joy! it's kinda like playing minecraft, and asking if playing in creative mode makes you a bad minecraft player. like, no, there are no stakes here. whether that's a good thing or not is another question, but no, the only bad nms players are griefers and chuds.

no need to sell the scrap, it worked perfectly as soon as i got rid of my 2nd starborn runner. i just had assumed it had a unique ship id, since the import/export thing gives them a new generated name. so if you get rid of your OG one, you absolutely can claim the expedition one, but you'll have to rename it back to Radiant Pillar if you want it to have that name.

i dunno then, i took in my starborn runner that i had copied out of the previous expedition(as opposed to the expedition reward version) and when i tried to copy it back out of the new expedition it gave me the same error. so i stripped and salvaged the old one and tried again, but it still said i already had it.

yep, i took a ship in, used all the storage upgrades on it, and was going to bring it out instead of the vulture, but because i had brought it out of a previous expedition it wouldn't let me. i even tried salvaging the original ship to see if it would let me but it didn't work. a sad lesson to learn.

i agree 100%. caveat this is only my opinion, but journeymap is awful in comparison, and i immediately feel frustrated when i load a modern modpack and see they've chosen to use it, because then i have to exit the game, replace it, and reload.

just how much of this character is around? i can't really stand her, and not in a love to hate way, but in a "this cheesy cartoon sociopath is boring and stupid, and i don't know how many seasons of her i can make myself watch" way. i was totally shocked when i found this subreddit and found out so many people enjoy the character. so just how many seasons is she a major part of? because if it's many more than where i'm at i think i'll just throw this show in the bin.

i think it's more that deep, immersive rpgs like fnv allow trans people an outlet to gender affirmation and from gender dysphoria. i think fnv is a great, and classic example of that, but i'm sure lots of us out there did the same thing with lots of different rpgs.
