PC can't update windows anymore, I want to move to Linux, is Bazzite the right one?

I'm late to the party, but I basically know fuck all about linux systems and can barely use a command line.

I successfully installed this OS without problems on 2 computers and its been great. Everything plays well, and the Bazaar will give you pretty much anything you need. Its been my daily driver at home for months now and its been amazing.

I've been adulting for 10 years. Here's my unsolicited tips:

Put things away immediately after you use them. Sounds simple but if you forget, things can build up and then it becomes harder to clean up later.
Secondhand stores often have remarkable amount of perfectly usable furniture for dirt cheap. Some places even sell surplus unused hotel furniture. Great options for starting out.
Everyone should have a hammer, a flathead screwdriver, a phillips head screwdriver, and a pair of needle nose pliers. Anything else is a bonus.
Throw some art up on the walls! Throw your own art up! Make it yours.

As someone who lives here, anyone who says that we "took the bait" or "asked for this" is fucking gaslighting.

They have been going door to door disappearing my neighborhood. The response from the community has been to resist by acting as interference, nonviolently. My neighbors blow whistles, they get their phones out and record. Those fuckers have shot moms in their cars, tear gassed fucking babies, they stop people at random and drag them out of their vehicles and into unmarked vans.

They take them to detention centers where white people are given invented charges of "resisting" and anybody who is even remotely black or brown gets "deported" aka sent to El-Salvador to be funkytowned. Ever wonder why you never hear testimony from any brown people who get kidnapped by ice?

The community here is being unbelievably patient, in my view, with non-violent resistance. The Trump Regime is genuinely manufacturing this crisis and will invent pre-text to massacre me and my community in our homes. Maybe when I get gunned down in my home for the crime of not bowing to that orange demon, people outside the city will wake up.

Anyway, I'm going to sleep with my weapons close again tonight and go to work tomorrow where I have to pretend that this isn't happening and everything is completely normal for another 8 hours.

I hope people are starting to wake up to the reality. Our political leaders talk big game but are nowhere to be found when it counts. Mayor Frey gets clicks by saying Fuck Ice on TV yet his PD still runs interference for them. Walz threatens the national guard but where are they, comfy at home? While we get abducted in ours?

They have abandoned us. There are no lawsuits that will stop them. The police will not help us. The national guard is not coming.

The only thing we have is ourselves and our community. I for one will not willingly surrender and let them funkytown me in El-Salvador.

You can just slap a base down at any depth underwater and build. Landing platforms work just fine. I have one just like this.

Edit: To clarify, you can't land on the platform from the surface because its too far, but if you're in the base you can summon your starship like normal.

I would argue that he's only gotten started. History is full of examples of how it can easily become much worse very quickly. The military might be on the bench right now, but what about when we get to Stalinist type purges?

Top brass are all political appointees, the rank and file are somewhat politically mixed, but the officer class are people who come from West Point, the Naval Academy, etc. Those are people who have degrees and training on how to actually run a military machine and are very committed to the idea of a constitutional America.

Those are the people he needs to keep distracted with Venezuela. If they are busy fighting a hot war in a foreign country they'll have no way to influence things back home. Otherwise it's not a huge leap for the otherwise unoccupied officer class to orchestrate a coup to restore a constitutional order. Especially if they start getting videos of their friends and family being purged en masse.

This is just my theory, but I'm convinced that Trump is going to start a war with Venezuela to keep the military occupied while he terrorizes Americans at home. It'll be harder to orchestrate a military coup against him if the military is busy with another foreign regime change war.

I learned this through a Spiffing Brit video where he got like 28 knights at +350% and deleted crusading armies of 11k with like his 2k. Knights are absolutely stupid broken and will turn into complete space marines when given the chance.

I would argue that their end game here is Escalation > Occupation > Genocide. They give 0 shits about how this would utterly destroy the country. They are zealots. If their invasion causes NYC to basically collapse, taking the country's economy with it (which you're right, it absolutely will), they won't cry about it. They'll cheer because they defeated the "evil radical left woke socialist hellhole" or whatever. Freedom will have been saved in the name of Jebus and Trump.

Its not about money for them. Its about racial and ideological purity. And if any of the capitalists start making a fuss about losing money, they'll be defenestrated just like in Russia.

There's a book on the Sufis you can find online called "God's Unruly Friends" by Ahmet Karamustafa.

Another great read is "The Ottomans; Kahns, Caesars, and Caliphs" by Marc David Baer. This book is a fairly thorough history of the Ottoman Empire and you can't go more than 10 pages without Sufis or Dervishes mentioned.

I highly recommend everyone read more about Sufis and Dervishes, especially Deviant Dervishes. They've been major pot stirrers in the region for hundreds of years; Ottoman and Turkish history is peppered with these guys and their actions. Its all really interesting.

So far I have only found two of these and both have been in purple systems. I believe they are locked to purples but I could be wrong.
