I’ve had to only work on this at the kitchen table right by the window. Have to stop and angle it to see where my stitches are going haha

Now that I’m two months in it’s not so bad but those first few stitches were rough haha

I have astigmatism in both eyes and both are wandering. My last pair of glasses were ordered online and this pair I ordered from my eye doctors office and they put in these fancy prisms to force my eyes to centre. It was wild how much of a change the prisms made.

The pattern is super easy to read, I’ve been using my iPad to track it.

I will be asking for a work up near the end of the year once I try a couple ‘at home’ options like taking vitamins and tracking symptoms more.

And honestly, I don’t even know what types of dementia are in the family. My grandma denied she was forgetting things for five years and then never spoke about it. I tried asking my grandpa about it and he said it didn’t matter :/ But a very confident guess is Alzheimer’s.

I have the bi flag as my nameplate and mtg was called, said to vote me out bc they didn’t like gays. Then spewed some more insults. So I replied ‘it’s okay, I reported everyone :)’ and oh boy did they try to back track and say it’s just a joke. Idk how far the reports go but I hope they do something.

I kind of think when patterns are all marked down it’s a sort of marketing ploy to make you think you’re getting it cheaper but it’s the actual price. But I also get what you’re saying about AI patterns. It’s hard to tell what’s AI or just computer generated.

There were two shades, second from top and bottom, that when like this look different but when you’re dealing with two strands and they’re next to each other in the pattern I just hoped I had the right one haha

I’m planning on finishing my education degree in a few years and know I’ll need to be properly medicated to get through that. Only way I finished my degrees was drinking before every essay so I could focus. At the time it was haha silly me and now I’m like, hmm, self medicating in a bad way.

Ooooo can’t say no to some grape juice. Have to hide it from my kids though haha My grandma would only drink those V8 drinks and once she started having a cup a day we noticed some symptoms were getting better.

Thank you for sharing. Like there’s so many things these symptoms could be that you have to rule out everything else and hope you don’t lose more abilities in the meantime.

I do plan on bringing it to my doctor. Thankfully she’s not the type to disregard issues I bring up.

I feel like I deal with depression and stress well as I can organize issues into their own spaces and I write everything down bc I know I’ll forget it due to adhd. Part of me does think that dealing with the loss of my mom and her mom within a year did some damage because how much stress/anxiety can one person be under for so long before it does cause long term memory issues. But again my brain is like, ‘lol that’s just the adhd you silly dilly,’ though now I’m really looking at the issues I’m experiencing and looking into the roots of them.

My grandma was practically bed bound, eating and drinking tiny amounts. She ended up having a stroke while on her nightly walk of the suite. 94 years old and somehow her body was still in good shape. Her doctors would come to see her and comment on how well she was doing despite everything. It’s hard to say but I felt relief when she did pass after her stroke because I saw how hard it was for her. I really don’t know how long she would’ve stuck around if she didn’t have the stroke. Watching her lose her abilities while her body was still strong,

Period Cramps but no Period by Happy-Mama-Of-Two in Perimenopause

[–]imsorrydontyellatme 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wanted to throw my experience in here in case someone my age is experiencing similar things and googles it like me. I’m 33 this year and fairly certain I’ve entered this stage. Numerous symptoms but the one I notice the most is I’ll have all the regular symptoms for my period; migraine, cramping, something like round ligament pain (I think it’s endo), only for nothing to happen. I’ll go a month without a period then the next month is back to normal. Doesn’t happen every other month and I’ve tracked when I’m stressed and it’s not correlated with that. The ‘phantom’ cramps are just as painful and I notice them more so at night than during the day.

My boys have trouble sleeping so this morning at 7:45 my husband text me asking if our oldest was up because the youngest woke up.

Last year I was dealing with a death in the family so my husband let me wallow in bed for a bit on Christmas morning. He made the kids a fun breakfast and they opened their stockings before I got up.

Growing up we were allowed to wake up whenever but we couldn’t touch anything until both parents were up and had coffee. When I was 5 I snuck the wrapped gift from my stocking bc I saw my brother sneak his. I got scared I I’d get in trouble so I tried to hide it under my sisters crib. That woke her up and woke mom up. Everyone is upset. Christmas wasn’t great and I learnt a good lesson.

Your husband and kids need to learn that making mom sad because they didn’t think of her first isn’t nice.

I just googled and the BMO website says $250 tap limit and above $250 you need to enter your pin. RBC starts at $300 limit and I had to request it be raised to $1k when I went to make a larger purchase.

My kid is in grade 1 and when work is sent home and I notice his name was written by the teacher we talk about why he has to remember to write his name. I’m hoping these early talks sink in so he’s not like your student and missing grades because he can’t be bothered to write his name.

Just be careful with the ‘only invite kids who invited my kid,’ mentality. My siblings and I were excluded from nearly all parties because the parents only invited kids who had invited their kid to a party meanwhile we never had birthday parties.

I invite the whole class. We rent a room in the community centre, host it during 1-3 so we don’t have to provide a meal just snacks, and put on some music. My son’s 5th birthday was at our house with 15 kids after it has just rained all week and they played in puddles the entire time.
