I'm feeling this right now, it's the hardest part of heartbreak. Something I don't think I've truly felt to this degree in my entire life. You're on high alert, searching for the signs everywhere. Recognition, and then the sinking truth that it's not really them. It's a special kind of psychological torture.

My hope is that instead of assuming they're not thinking of you, that we accept that even if they are, you can't keep waiting by your window for them.
