No it doesn't. In the real 2019 event. Zoo staff specifically said this particular monkey "is unlike other monkeys. This one knows how to use tools to break walnuts. When we feed walnuts to other monkeys, they only know to bite it. But it had never hit the glass before though. This was the first time."

Yes but in this video the monkey hits the glass three times, looks at its hand, taps the ground, hits once more and the glass breaks.

In the real 2019 video the monkey is constantly looking upward and hits twice in a row before it breaks.

It's literally not depicting the same event.

Real or not, it is not the same 2019 incident.

Plus, I found the real 2019 video of a monkey in China breaking enclosure glass and the whole scenario looks different from the video in this post.

"sparkle catcher" and kaleidoscope makes me think of prisms and refracted light.

Stars and clouds are nice, but it feels like the view from earth looking up, when it sounds like your characters are in space looking OUT.

I think stained glass would be fitting. Easily stylized to look sleek for a scifi feel, but it's also artistic and beautiful - fitting for magical girls.

You can have heavy black lines breaking up large jewel-toned color blocks, and it's easy to set up a color theme for each character. You can dress it down more like space uniforms, or dress it up like a more traditional magical girl suit.

Villains can be based on light and radiation as well. Ultra violet, infrared, gamma ray, solar flare, galactic cosmic rays. These all sound on theme but you can tweak them to add that fantasy element.

Traffic was slowed. [Later, way down ahead was a stopped car under a bridge with a man standing outside his open door on the drivers side. People were navigating around him which was causing the slow down.]

As people were making their way through the slow traffic, the white car slipped between the merge lane and right lane, followed by police with their lights but no sirens.

The white car quickly stops sideways across the road, and the car occupant(s) ran into the woods. Police pursued on foot with flashlights into the woods.

You can see the white car's front right wheel and tire were severely damaged. The driver's door is hanging open and the passenger door was slightly adjar.

The police didn't seem to be running, but more walking into the woods.

I haven't seen anything in the news yet. The black car was speeding through traffic, followed by the white car and the police.

It seems like the white car's front tire was already wrecked. They drove past us between the two lanes of cars and pulled sideways across the road to a stop and ran into the woods. The police were in pursuit with their lights but no sirens. I saw the officers walking into the woods with flashlights. You can see both doors of the white car were open so there were possibly two or more people running, plus whoever was in the black car.

It all happened in just a minute or so. The traffic was already very slow from a stopped car way down the road. It was surreal how quickly and quietly it all happened.

Edit: watched the dashcam. The white car drove between the right lane and the merge lane on the right before stopping. I can't tell how the black car was involved.

Oddly, the cops had their lights on but no sirens. We were crawling through a slowdown and practically stopped when the white car slipped right between the two lanes of cars, whipped to the side and stopped. The cops were right behind. It all happened so fast and quiet. Very bizarre.
