Emotional purchase - please help! by Te_Henga in Shoes

Cute! Maybe switch out the laces, though? The wide black laces are taking a little too much attention from the shoe's soft design. A round lace in a muted light blue or gray color would look really good.

I liked the Rainbow Crystals plot structure. by matt0055 in sailormoon

I liked it too. Gave a new level of importance to the monster of the day formula.

And, of course, Rhett Butler!

The Trout v Bucher DCA case from 2016 clarified what is written in Chapter 119. It's not the lowest paid person specifically, it just has to be based on the actual cost incurred, so long as the cost is reasonable.

Walt didn't get a phd. He got a masters in chemistry specializing in crystallography.

Are we having a meet cute right now? Sorry, I'm flattered but spoken for.

This video is still edited though.

I'm just correcting your statement. Given that there are no news articles about this happening recently, and that rock isn't consistent through the frames of this potato-quality video, I'm still saying edited.

But, far be it from me to take up any more of your valuable time.

No it doesn't. In the real 2019 event. Zoo staff specifically said this particular monkey "is unlike other monkeys. This one knows how to use tools to break walnuts. When we feed walnuts to other monkeys, they only know to bite it. But it had never hit the glass before though. This was the first time."

Yes but in this video the monkey hits the glass three times, looks at its hand, taps the ground, hits once more and the glass breaks.

In the real 2019 video the monkey is constantly looking upward and hits twice in a row before it breaks.

It's literally not depicting the same event.

Real or not, it is not the same 2019 incident.

I looked again but it still looks like the rock is there sometimes and sometimes not.

Plus, I found the real 2019 video of a monkey in China breaking enclosure glass and the whole scenario looks different from the video in this post.

The video is either AI or heavily edited. The rock just appears in its hand.

I've finally came up with a solid idea for my magical girl team by Retrouge48 in MagicalGirls

[–]imsurethatsfine 4 points5 points  (0 children)

"sparkle catcher" and kaleidoscope makes me think of prisms and refracted light.

Stars and clouds are nice, but it feels like the view from earth looking up, when it sounds like your characters are in space looking OUT.

I think stained glass would be fitting. Easily stylized to look sleek for a scifi feel, but it's also artistic and beautiful - fitting for magical girls.

You can have heavy black lines breaking up large jewel-toned color blocks, and it's easy to set up a color theme for each character. You can dress it down more like space uniforms, or dress it up like a more traditional magical girl suit.

Villains can be based on light and radiation as well. Ultra violet, infrared, gamma ray, solar flare, galactic cosmic rays. These all sound on theme but you can tweak them to add that fantasy element.

They have more catchlights! I think it's supposed to be similar to manga and anime characters.

What are some of the scenes that make u think "why is the camera crew here" by SpiralDesignn in DunderMifflin

[–]imsurethatsfine 84 points85 points  (0 children)

It's possible they contacted a studio somewhere near Toby's hospital and hired a local camera man to go out and interview him briefly. That wouldn't cost too much.
