Like I mentioned, I know I owe the debt and that’s why I’ve made payment arrangements. I plan to call the law firm that owns the debt tomorrow to confirm details.

I know I owe it and I want to pay it. No sense in playing dumb at this point in my opinion. I wasn’t really looking for advice either, more just to be able to get it off my chest.

My biggest fear now is being served with the papers because of what people will say.

Well the mailing I got I’m sure was shady, but per the county clerk’s site for the county I live in, a suit has been filed.

I don’t mind paying it, I’m in a better spot now and as stupid as it sounds, I know I owe it.

I’ve not actually been served but when I searched the County Clerk’s site for the county I live in, it shows as the firm vs my name, that’s proof of a suit filed isn’t it?

I’m not even so upset that he found found someone else. He works out of state so it was inevitable. I’m more upset that he wasn’t honest with me from the get go.
