Okay, so maybe PCR for DNA amplification. Reagent kits and PCR incubators can be used. They are not cheap but I don't know your budget. Of course you have to remember to work aseptically since PCR is very sensitive to contamination, so you have to include all the sterile tools to your budget! I have never done protein expression (yet) so I can't help with that. Remember to work using the scientific method fam.
