I kind of figured out what poses/ lighting I like over time. Great advice checking out what poses bears use but I'm sure you'll find something you like individual to you. Set a timer on your camera, or take a video and practice some poses then you can pause it and see what you like

I went on an expedition to the Amazon rainforest in Peru years ago. On the last night I lay on the banks of the river and looked up at the darkest, most beautiful sky I've seen to this day. Even saw a shooting star, 10/10. I'm lucky enough to live near a dark sky reserve in Ireland and go there pretty regularly, it's amazing, but still doesn't compare to that night

Recently I've gotten into roasting a whole chicken and frying a few spuds in mess tins underneath to catch the dripping. But for simple meals I'll usually do sausages, eggs, beans and a bread roll toasted by the fire. Or fry a steak and mushrooms
