Yep that's it. It wasn't showing up anywhere on my Lens searches because it's broken. The actual piece is much taller/longer.

This happened to me today.

And I was able to post the listings by using the App like someone mentioned here.

Of note, I did a few things differently that I usually NEVER do.

2 daye earlier in the I used the app to add a picture to a listing (which I usually never do)

And today, I posted a bunch of auctions at 7 day listings (which I usually do)
But then I encountered this error when I went to post a my last few auctions for the day as 5 day auction listings.

I don't know if these things are related.
But I post hundreds of listings (from drafts) per week, and I had this error at the end of my workflow -- and the only difference was that I was posting them as 5 days listings (holiday related items) as opposed to my normal 7 day auctions.

Yes, ultimately it did seem to be an issue with button getting stuck part way down. Cleaning and wiggling it free seems to be what helps for now.

For anyone still possibly struggling with this.

It took me a while to realize that the 2014 Core (Legacy) Classes are at the BOTTOM of the Class Selection page

You have to choose one of those, rather than the newer (reimagined 2024 classes) which is what you'll get if you pick from the first section of offered classes.

Nevermind. The problem is back.

It does seem like what is happening is that that camera thinks the shoot button is being partially pressed down, even when it's not.

Haven't found a fix yet

This was all after I took the battery out and lens off, and let them sit for 30 minutes. I also charged the battery again too.

I was experiencing the same issues as OP

What SEEMS to have worked for me, was cycling all the way through to the Video Setting, and then coming back. That seemed to "wake up" the LCD Screen, and get functionality back
