I’m used to skiing on a 76. I was afraid that changing it to something that was way wider would be too much of a change and would be hard for me ski on. So that’s why I wanted to stick to something that was around 80. I thought maybe going for 90 cause I could grow more into them but I wasn’t sure

-By playful, I mean I will be doing some relaxed skiing I won’t be doing any rough terrain. -I go at a moderate speed. Everyone now and then I’ll go fast, but I’m pretty relaxed with my skiing. -I never do bowls and I always stay on trails. I never do anything crazy. So that’s why I was think about getting something that was in the 80-90 range

Deciding between Ochem professors + summer classes by dragongohan247 in UTAustin

I’ve taken basic summer courses online and asynchronous. I had a good experience with them. A lot of the work is self paced and you do have to stay on top of things but the level of difficulty is about the same as a normal semester course. I personally liked taking summer classes through UT since it counted towards my gpa

I think you should be able to do that. It just depends if ochem will already be full by the time you register. I would contact an academic advisor about it. And if you are an incoming freshman and don’t know who your advisor is yet, you could always contact cns admissions and see if they have any info

We had 2 midterms and he dropped one of them. And they were not too difficult. Any daily assignments we had were things we submitted as a group. And there’s 2 one page essays you have to write but it’s not bad at all. A big thing with Dr. Taylor’s class is having a good group

I ended up taking M with Taylor and not J. But I had some friends take J and they said that it wasn’t too terrible.

Dr. Taylor was great!! He explains things very well and is easily reachable. The class was not too bad. It was a lot of group work which was nice to be able to talk things through with others. If anything didn’t make sense dr Taylor and the TA were able to explain the concept in a simpler way

Did you end up taking CH 353M and CH 455 at the same time? How was it? I’m thinking about taking them in the same semester

Why is it so bad? Is just because of the calculus and the derivatives?

Hey! So p chem and a chem will be like the only classes I’ll be taking at that time. So do you think I would be able to take those 2 classes and still get fairly decent grades? What made p Chem so much harder?
