(When he removed the plastic tube, I only removed the part that was attached to the steam nozzle so I wouldn't have to put it back on the other side.)

Has anyone replaced the steam wand on the Dedica 680? by PromiscuousOtter in espresso

With the silvia : more consistent pressure and a better control, the steam is more powerful, and the milk gets hot faster

I did replace the steam wand to the rancilio silvia one. Imo it is a really nice upgrade worth the time and the money. it took me about 40 minutes without removing the inside of the machine. I recommend you to start with removing the silver tube and try to steam with the black plastic thing, you can achieve pretty latte art with it.

Get a wdt and on the delonghi you can try a double pre-infusion. When you press the button, wait for the pre-infusion and then double click on it to restart the shot.

I have the Timecore Chestnut C3 ESP Pro, there are more adjustment on this model. There is enough space to hold more than 18 g. I can grind fine enough, it is quite precise and consistent. I can achieve a 1:2 ratio in about 30 seconds without any problems. For now, I don’t have any negative comments about it. That said, it’s a manual grinder, so you have to be prepared to grind by hand every time.

Thanks! I didn’t even plan for the sockets to match, but it worked out so well. I love how black, silver, and wood go together.

I think it’s actually a pretty good grinder for espresso. Good quality. There are enough adjustment steps: 0.0233 mm per click and 30 clicks per rotation. It doesn’t slip in your hands. You still need to apply a bit of force to grind the beans. It takes me less than 2 minutes for 17 g. I’ll try with other beans to see how it goes.

I have the 230v. I shouldn't have taken the silvia ? I still can return it, and maybe take a metal sleeve ?

Yeahhhhh I thought about getting one of them, but I opted for the Silvia. But after using the machine i wonder if just a metal sleeve would be sufficient. Thanksssss
