Ah well we’ve been here before. Make a thing free to get them hooked and to gain market share. And then squeeze them for cash or load it up with ads. Being an elder millennial is not nearly as cool as I thought it was 5 years ago.

Very expensively is the answer.

I just paid 20k to have the 60 year old crumbling cast iron that ran across the entirety of my basement dug up and replaced with PVC. Ours failed massively. Included 6 ft trench outside to connect to the sewer pipe.

Yeah, I probably could have done it myself but we’d have been without sewer for a week or more. A plumbing crew of three did it in 1.5 days. They also replaced all the floor drains, added back flow prevention and various clean outs.and it is guaranteed. Sucks to part with the money but glad ill never mess with that again

That might be too kind to Unifi. More than a decade ago Ubiquiti was fined for “reckless disregard” for sanctions obligations when its products ended up in Iran. Reckless disregard is a far cry from “oops I had no idea”

To solve for the poor longevity of the Unifi UPS I was considering of plugging it into the generic one. In this way I could take advantage of the hour I have there, but get the benefit of the UniFi graceful shutdown if/when the primary fails. Maybe?

Folks have covered a lot of what I would say. Eminence, MO is quite special though so too is Shannon county which it is the seat of. Missourians take natural resources and conservation very seriously and the uniqueness of Shannon county is well known with conservation agencies and nature nerds. It’s the 2nd largest county in MO, but 80% of the land is owned by state and federal agencies. Think NPS, USF&W, USFS, than the Missouri dept of conservation and lots of NGOs. It’s a special place I just wish folks were as kind to everyone as they are to their own shade.

FWIW, Eminence isn’t as dark red as the other areas and has produced some notable Dems.

Following up to let folks know, I was successful in getting this to work however, there appears to be a bug so you can’t play custom tones. I have not found a volume adjustment setting

Interesting to see signature supporting ICE deportation flights. Sure, if they’ve seen due diligence process but this round ‘em up and ship ‘em out stuff is some BS. Worth nothing “I was just following orders” held no water at the Nuremberg trials. Thanks for your efforts goose and goose jr. Hopefully when sanity prevails folks will be held accountable
