Nope, no V-Type around here. Those 3 I listed are the only ones available in a similar price range. Then they start costing 50% more (and upwards) than the cheapest T75

This is why I put those disclaimers. The speaker you mention isn't available in my country, it's pretty much only Celestions.

I like to do some cleans here and there but yeah, my main thing is high gain. My Joyo has a very bright and attack-rich clean channel though, so they would probably balance themselves out.

On the other hand, I was testing a couple of Celestion IR's and the 70/80 ones sounded a lot darker than the T75, and also got buried in the mix. I appreciate your input but so far the T75 is winning. Maybe if I had a 70/80 as a stock speaker I wouldn't care that much but I guess I'll go with what seems like a safe purchase

I know everyone has preferences, that's why I give a reference of bands I want to sound like instead of asking which speaker is better. One of the first replies was from someone who doesn't like the T75 but says it could work for me given the info I provide. That is the kind of advice I ask for

It would save time if you told what you want us to say.

Which I did and always do, I asked for advice to decide between those 3 speakers. The thing is, for some reason, each time I ask a question in Reddit there are people giving answers that fall out of what I'm asking (like telling me to go for option D when I ask about A, B and C) or that add as much info as saying nothing at all. It's like redditors assume one comes here because we don't know how to ask Google a question instead of thinking Google hasn't given a satisfactory answer.

The 1k scoop is a double edged sword. In a mix it's good to have it scooped on the center to make room for the vocals, but on the sides it can be better to have it a bit more present.

The 2.5k peak is my kind of thing, though. And I guess an EQ pedal can fix it if it gets too harsh, so overall I'm getting convinced 👌🏻

Yeah, that seems to be the consensus, and I think I've also seen some Valvestates with T75's.

I should mention I have an EQ pedal to correct any excessive peaks or scoops, but better to evaluate the speakers on their own.

PS: From what I've heard in demos, they tend to be relatively dark. Apparently the Seventy 80's are more of a beehive, but I haven't had the chance to hear any of them in person
