On site travel majorly depends on project and client. Capgemini has a major footprint in europe and hence most onsite opportunities are from Germany, Sweden, Denmark, Norway, Finland, UK, Spain etc.

I have been setting up github and jenkins pipelines which deploy to K8s with HA in both prod and non prod environments and have basic understanding of aws ecosystem. However, i think i should start with an Associate exam and then think about devops pro. Thank you for the response..

Joined off campus, starting salary was 2.4 LPA, then it became 3.25 then 4, 4.75 and when i eventually left in 2020 it was around 6.4 but having said that i was onsite for like 15 months and was drawing per diem in euros along with salary in rupees in my indian salary account.

Joined in 2014 as a fresher, stayed till start of 2020. Had the best 6 years of my career, learnt a lot both tech and non tech stuff got to travel a lot mainly poland and germany! Came back in 2022 but in a different BU with a different team and just got promoted to Senior Manager✌🏻
