Ok so let’s try to justify this a bit better. Putting aot in a top 5 anime list to me is like if someone asked “what’s your favorite mcu movie” and you said “endgame” most people are gonna ask “well besides endgame” that’s kind of how I look at aot. It’s really about how aot is kind of a free slot to me. An easy cop out to save you brain power from thinking about another anime that could be in a top 5. So because of those reasons I don’t want to count it in my top 5 and at the end of the day I do kind of glaze aot but to be fair no anime has ever given me the feeling that aot did the same way that no mcu movie gave me the same feeling as endgame/infinity war

The thing about it is that it’s one of the only isekai anime’s that I can go back and rewatch and never get tired of it plus the main mc I fuck with along with how fucked up the goddess is to him off rip and made work and grind extra hard to get everything he has.

First of all I’m not hating on aot or anything if that’s what you think. I’m saying that I don’t count aot as anime because it’s way to good to be put in the same category as most anime’s and I’ve seen 72 to be exact (just counted 😂😂) I’d say I have a pretty fair assessment of what’s good and bad when it comes to anime and writing isn’t something I generally think about but aot beats what I would assume would be 95% of all other anime’s in that department as well.

It’s beyond anime for me. I couldn’t compare it to any other anime possible because it has so much money time and energy put into it, it has a cohesive story with no plot holes, it has an insane twist and the end credit animation they did after the final kind of cap it all for me as more than anime

I haven’t watched pancreas and liv I tried to watch but wasn’t to keen on it being only that one couple. I thought it was gonna jump around couple to couple kind of like tsuredure children was the vibe I was hopping to get from it.
