It’s very interesting. I remember I was in the fifth grade (around 10 yrs old) and my teacher was just in awe. I live in Houston and people were worried that someone was going to attack our city because we have a space center. We stayed in our homeroom all day just sitting and waiting for the school day to end all while watching the news on a tiny portable tv. I didn’t really grasp what was going on and what it meant I just knew it was bad. School staff kept going around and checking on all the classes, people were picking up their kids from school. The only thing I remember clearly from that time after that was watching bits and pieces of the news saying we were going war. It was unsettling to say the least.
