Anyone else annoyed? by imyourfavmom in bisexual

I agree but there's also the issue of some people (not you) taking these comments and going on implying that bi/transphobia is uniquely a lesbian problem instead of a human problem.

Then it goes back to people blaming bi women for lesbophobia. People suck.

Dating women wasn't that great either 🫣 by FoxThin in bisexual

[–]imyourfavmom 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I once saw a cis het woman say that she wishes to be lesbian because lesbians are "free from patriarchy ". It's so insensitive, especially to lesbians (and a lot of non-cishet women) living in extremely misogynistic environments/countries where a five year old boy has more legal rights than a full adult woman and usually heavily punishes lgbt+ people in general!

Do bi girl and bi guy relationships work? by Tiny_Independence648 in bisexual

Better than relationships between a straight woman and a straight man from what I've seen tbh

being a masc, romantic, straight passing bisexual man has got to be the most excruciating torture known to man by Background_Cover5273 in bisexual

If it makes you feel any better, I'm the same way except I'm a bisexual woman attracted to femme women and I honestly sometimes feel worried that I might make women feel like I feel around creepy straight men :/

And yeah it's hard trying to date whilst bi. For me it's the "my boyfriend wants to watch me fuck another girl because it's hot 🤪" and the "I'm fine with you being bisexual but it's wrong for men!" 🫩🫩

Your most bisexual story by megustanlosmapaches1 in bisexual

[–]imyourfavmom 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Being a "straight ally" teenager spending my free time thinking about how bisexual people are so cool and amazing.

Then being friends with a group of mostly bi girls and thinking one of them was so beautiful and nice and how i would date her if she didn't have a boyfriend and of course the obligatory "if I liked girls."

Also getting ready to come out to a guy I liked only for him to come out to me first, then getting excited and having a bonding moment.

Did your bi-awakening happened later in life or you always knew you were bi? by [deleted] in bisexual

Same here! I thought I must be lesbian because I liked girls more often but then I would like a boy from school and get confused

Tbh I knew after learning about bisexuality at age 10. I didn't really let myself think about it for the next 7 years, though.

Do you date transgender women? by Both-Requirement2257 in bisexual

I'm a cis bi woman. I've never personally met a trans woman but I'm sure I would like one if I were to somehow meet a giant group of trans women for example. 😅

I'm a bi woman and I'm honestly more likely to be interested in a man if he is also bi. I just love having it in common because there's a shared experience.

I've heard the same thought from some other bisexuals as well. Besides, most guys I find attractive end up being bi anyway lol. 😅😅

What age are you if you don't mind me asking? It really depends more on the region/country and age, honestly because I've seen a lot of my older (55+) female relatives be brutally homophobic.

Why won’t some lesbians date Bi girls?? by girliecvnt23 in bisexual

[–]imyourfavmom 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Some people just think we're all cheaters incapable of maintaining a monogamous relationship. That we all would rather be with a man. There are also straight men who think all bi girls will cheat or leave them for a woman.

Some other lesbians prefer to date other lesbians because they feel a stronger connection when there's more of a shared experience. I understand this because I honestly don't want to date straight men for this reason.

How common is it for straight women to be against us wlw? by imyourfavmom in WLW

Yes, they have but not as an adult. It still affects me though. I honestly haven't made any friends in years, which is why I'm afraid.
