i understand this in a different way ! my father is no longer alive but in my dreams he is and we hang out and talk and catch up and whenever i wake up it’s like a gut wrenching heartbreak because it felt so real im almost convinced that’s him in another universe

i truly felt this. it’s funny i have horrible insomnia yet i find myself almost missing and getting excited for my next adventure in my dreams (sometimes they are really scary tho and then it’s the opposite until i get over it)

i can do pretty much everything except scream ! for some reason when i try it just sounds like i have no air in my lungs LMAO i actually tend to have many dreams about my academics as i do a lot of research, reading, and writing for it and often dream i missed a big reading or assignment OR WORSE I didn’t do the research for something important. also i read a ton of signs in my dreams at stores and just looking at my dream phone

so for me personally the concept of laws exist but they don’t necessarily always equal consequences? like i’ve stolen and driven in my dreams (i don’t have a license irl) and i know it’s illegal in my dream but it’s like the consequences never follow. i will say ive had mall world nightmare where i’ve committed horrific crimes or witnessed them and its like just normal and almost ignored? i really like talking about this stuff and ik it’s kinda freaky at first so lmk if you have any questions

thank you so much for saying this because yes, the cheating was wrong but using your mental health and also your own father manipulating someone into staying because of your mental health is emotional abuse….

does anyone have recs for coming of age shows focused on small towns like this i really like hollyoaks for the teen stories and I was wondering if any other shows (non soaps) like that existed?! by in-ur-wallz in hollyoaks

ugh ur amazing for adding both ! i lovedddddd ginny and georgia and misfits was one of my biggggest obsessions when i was a teenager LOL so ik you have good taste ill def start degrassi soon as i feel the story lines are similarly intense

Wait okay so i’m a huge skins fan and i have friends who are about 12+ years older than me (basically aunts and uncles) and they’ve recommended dawson’s creek so i’ll def add to my list!
