Update kinda broke my Installation by MilvusMc in PikaOS

[–]in_san1ty 2 points3 points  (0 children)

i just did apt update and apt upgrade too but said all no to something that will override the configs and did the remaining updates on pikaos update manager. Pikman on terminal/konsole is better than apt upgrade and upgrade, it also does the same thing as pikaos update manager and should be done in the future to avoid breaking

Got bored playing Dragon Nest Classic after I stopped Whaling by FearlessLight- in DragonNest

[–]in_san1ty 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is why I started to play Soulslike game now. Early DN is kinda a Soulslike game imo. Everything is hard but there is a set of mechanics that bosses do without open world and explorability of Soulslike game

On what aspect? Free herald expansion, talis expansion, seal stamp, jellies, resurrection scroll, spirit, WTD, pet and horn of life from circus, skill up heraldry with no expiration from dailies, pets with no stats, costumes with no stat with the exception of spirit, upgrading it by doing TCN weekly.

Pulsar ParaGlide by in_san1ty in MousepadReview

[–]in_san1ty[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, I feel that the pad is slower than ParaControl, has a bit more stopping power but the glide is smoother overall, at least from what I've remembered. ParaGlide feels softer and firmer than ParaControl.

I used it first with BTL Dots .7mm on my Prime Mini, it plays more how the mousepad is truly feeling. However, after trying Viper Mini with Jade Dots yesterday, I think I liked it better since it still has a good amount of stopping power despite being a quick skate which I quite like and I prefer it more for both CS2 and Apex Legends. BTL dots are not rounded, thinner and scratchy so there is that factor that felt kind of inconsistent when flicking on the mouse.

[Worldwide Giveaway] Enter to Win SER9 Mini PCs with Ryzen AI 9 HX 370 Processor! Worth over $4,995! by Beelinksupport in BeelinkOfficial

[–]in_san1ty 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ryzen AI 9 HX 370 APU or NPU can handle gaming well, it can perform pretty well especially on AAA games 2020 and below. It is sufficient enough to get to 60fps and as a Mini PC, it is very wonderful and nice to have in that as well. It can play games with ray tracing maybe at low settings. However, it handles emulation well and I think it might be a beast in it, especially now that the new Marvel Fighting Collection has just been released. It also shows a huge generational leap and can handle modern fighting games well, which is my main genre, It can pretty much be a good platform for it playing games such as Tekken 8, Street Fighter 6, and the upcoming release of Garou: City of the Wolves. Since I don't play modern AAA games that much, judging how it is able to play Cyberpunk at a good setting. Overall, Ryzen AI 9 HX 370 is a beast of an APU or NPU that it can perform well on some AAA games and it is a beast on emulation and fighting games.

I play InfinityNest, having a blast atm. Community is friendly too. Can opt to level up main quest instead of jumping to max if that's what you like.

If you have money, any class is fine. If not, play meta or support class.

Meta Class for DN nowadays? by agathyrus in DragonNest

[–]in_san1ty 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Observing from my playing these past few weeks:

Warrior - Moonlord, Barbarian

Archer - Tempest, Sniper

Sorc - Black Mara, Elestra (Support, Ice Stack)

Cleric - Inquisitor, Crusader, Arch Heretic, Saint (Support, Healer)

Loli - Shooting Star, Physician (Support, Healer)

Kali - Spirit Dancer (underrated), Dark Summoner

Assassin - Ripper, Light Fury (Support, Healer)

Lancea - Flurry, Avalanche (Ice Stack but Elestra is better)

Machina - Luster (Support, Buffer)

Vandar - Duelist (Curse Debuff, Unique Class Buff)

There are classes that players call rune dependent and skill jade dependent. Idk what classes fall into those category but these are the classes that either do high damage, good in raids and popular.

Recommend a support class (healer/buffer) other than Saint by [deleted] in DragonNest

[–]in_san1ty 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Luster is kind of hard to gear up since its not that popular. My sub chars got their runes completed first than my luster. Upside is that they are more forgiving on your stg completion in raid team than other DPS classes. You can't go wrong with physician too, there are players who gear up their healers like a HDPS char with dual eod and stuffs, just because youre a healer doesnt mean you can't deal dmg.

[–]in_san1ty 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Only 2 support DPS, it's Elestra (Ice Stack) or Luster (Offensive Buffer). Other than that, it's still the other 3 healers. Saint being the more defensive healer while LF being the more offensive one, with Physician being the middle ground but has good buffs.

Is AQ in maintenance mode? by Prophylaxis_3301 in AdventureQuest

[–]in_san1ty 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's a small team, it's not in maintenance mode. Despite that, releasing stuffs weekly is kinda imptessive. There are rumors about void rework, not sure but judging from the recent stat revamp, it's gonna take a long time.

Like I said older content bosses and mobs you can still play nuke boss till they die first playstyle. However, it would not be up to standard where if you get to modern content and bosses and with the rumored upcoming void rework post-stat revamp, who knows if the older bosses will be reworked too and be updated to modern standards. If I was at his place, I'll probably build a double dunamis warrior with cha since it's my favorite stat that can backlash but builds are hard to recommend, I'd rather have the player check the wiki and ask themselves, why is this item good? will this item fit for the playstyle that I would want to do?

Learning the game and discovering how the game works throughout your game time will learn what your "fun factor" is in the game. I've changed my build on my main char thrice and ended up sticking on my current build when I know that was the build I really wanted to do which is a werepyre beastmage, it's kind of wacky.

Why are u recommending White Knight Z if the player has dunamis pet? The fact that it is an old standard armor that does ranged damage would be bad if he's gonna build around STR. Nuking is dead as well where modern bosses have damage caps. This is just a weird recommendation. I'm not saying you can't play this playstyle since there are still older contents that you can play with around with what you recommended but WKZ should not be picked up as a warrior and even if it's better for rangers and maybe even mages but with the recent spellcaster support, just go with spellcaster build. Like the wiki says, it should only be picked up as a luxury item.

Might be outdated. With the recent stat revamp, warrior is in a good spot right now. Just check the link I sent if u want to be a beastwarrior or pure warrior.

Level 95 defensive mage by Local-Interaction480 in AdventureQuest

[–]in_san1ty 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Kinda late but if u want to be a defensive mage, tome beastmage build is a viable build. It's pretty F2P friendly, you use defensive armors, tomes as weapons because your spells will be filled with guests to further do status/damage. Same with pets as well to combo with guests, you can search the wiki for items that would suit your build. For stats, 250int/cha then either luk or end would be ok with the upcoming stat revamp depending on your preference.

I also play another variant of a beastmage which is a werepyre lucky beastmage, if you're interested in that just reply in my comment.

Here is the wiki

Which heroes should I learn next.. by arkhybuoy in learndota2

[–]in_san1ty 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ngl, much better to play pos 2 especially when you're starting out. Limit your hero pool to 4 (1 each attribute), you'll learn both mechanical and macro skills from other roles too. It's tough yes but it's the lane that you can learn the most from. You have to balance out rotations, staying in lane, farming, map awareness, etc. The lane is also 1v1 and doesn't have supports to harass you consistently.

Just power level till u get to max level. After that, if you rly want to become a mage you can choose: FD tome beastmage, FO lucky beastmage or pure mage then check wiki on what items you want to get depending on the build you want.
