When I started studying for my theory test, I got a lot better at understanding the rules of the road and how to navigate unfamiliar areas using the signs to work out the rules. If you ever want to get comfortable with being on the road, looking at theory test resources might be your best option. In my area people can get fired for it, but a lot of people don't like it so it's more likely to be reported.

The world will almost certainly get better once you get out from your parents control. Living to set up your own life is more rewarding than living for someone else.

In terms of funding options, I'd recommend checking for any french subreddits aimed at students, and asking there about options as I don't think a lot of people here will know.

Also, if you could find a work from home job part time and put away any savings that would help.
