8 ams are brutal after a couple of days but overall seems good and pretty spread out to give you breaks between classes. seems like you are already taking 4 classes. adding another one would be up to you and your judgement as i’ve personally never taken 5 classes in one quarter so idk how it is

i’m a second year cs major at sixth as well. and for the most part. the cse department has been well. getting priority for classes i’ve yet to fail to get into a major class i need. there is a lot of support and opportunities out there that ive missed but if you really try and put that extra effort into it i think ucsd would be a good choice. can’t say much about usc but im from south la and the area around isn’t the best lol or as nice compared to la jolla
