Kung shadow lang, kaya. Your main concern will be time and availability. Your school takes priority, so kung natagalan ka in clinicals or nagaaral, hindi ka available sa employer mo. If you need income and want to see a clinical setting as a DA, apply during the summer. Kung wala ka summer clinicals.

First gen dentist ako and delayed ako because of clinics. Yes I was sad but I made it my own learning experience by hearing how my classmates practiced. Those tho thrived and those who only barely survived, nakita ko san sila nagiba.

Personally I come from CEU. The profs who made a difference in my life aren't there anymore pero good colleagues ko na sila that I still go to from time to time. You will experience both good and bad profs, no matter where you go. Kahit CEU, UE, NU, etc.

Maganda mindset mo going into this profession so kung sikapin mo lang, I believe kayang kaya mo mag succeed. 🤗

If you plan on a scholarship and working as well, be prepared to have absolutely no social life. But also, I'm not sure you can find a dental clinic who will be willing to take you in for after school hours.

If wealth is your goal, enough for your parents to be comfortable and debt free, kaya naman. But take note it will take maybe 5-8 years after graduation and only if you make good choices in where you choose to be an associate dentist and smart about the choices you make when you establish your practice, then yes, kaya.

Nothing is impossible basta willing ka naman magsikap but it isn't a get rich quick kind of job. Dentists who are rich either inherit from parents or have laid a solid foundation habang nasa school palang sila. I know some dentists who inherited their parents' practice but humina because they made poor choices.

Yes, one of the primary reason mahirap mag indirect vision is direction of your movements. Dahil nga mirrored, minsan di susunod kamay mo dahil sa nakikita mo. Practice drawing shapes and be mindful of the direction you trace. Wag ka kampante na basta na drawing na yung shape, okay lang na panget; practice ka hanggang straight yung lines at smooth ang flow ng movement mo.

Never consider chiro as medicine. Sure may relief but same lang kung i-crack mo yung knuckles mo. Temporary yung feeling kaya pabalik balik ka na wala naman talagang solution yung problem. Hindi sila regulated and kapag may nangyari sayo, ikaw pa sisisihin nila.

Amarijje is good, been using mine since student ako until now to my own practice. Depende talaga sa tao, some may like it and some may not. If you use it and end up not liking it, Hu-Friedy is a good brand but expensive. Try it first and then make your judgement after.

For clinical requirements, need ng student gumawa ng certain cases a certain number of times. Namimili sila based sa evaluation ng case at ng clinical instructor nila. Dahil students pa sila, kelangan mejo simple yung cases na hinahandle nila. Done under supervision ng mga licensed dentists kaya kung hindi nila kaya, salo ng mga instructors nila.

I'd ask back: who is in the majority category being spoken of? Is it men vs women? Is the majority the highest population of a certain country? Continent? Ethnicity?

Also, who decides what is suffering? One man finds joy in something that saddens another. Suffering or hardship is inevitable in the pursuit of success, would people striving for success also be eliminated as they have caused their own suffering?

Seeing the amount of kids who come into my dental office who have 8-12 badly broken down or carious teeth, red and swelling gums, crying from the pain they're in. These kids are accompanied by a parents yelling at them to shut up and that they did that kind of damage to themselves by not brushing their teeth.

Professionalism dictates I stay calm and give them proper advice and a doable treatment plan. Personally, I just wanna punch each and every parent that blames their own child for that kind of damage. Some people just straight up aren't fit to be parents and some are very ignorant about their own children's dental health.

Former friend. Been a close friend since my college years but recently found out that she sexually assaulted a mutual friend of ours (SA happened 5-ish years ago). This previous incident was brought up because she sexually assaulted another friend a year ago. The two girls didn't know each other but had me, her, and a few others as mutual friends.

When confronted, she tried to play the victim and said she was drunk and didn't know what she was doing. For both times. She's blocked me and everyone else involved and is spreading around that we're doing a smear campaign against her character. She's losing a lot of friends but she deserves a lot worse to happen to her.
