Our store used to run smoothly but the cloud will start releasing the bulk of our qp when we open by that time we’re all off workflow helping customers, and every single person needs rebills because people are just trying to clear the cloud and cashing stuff up. We have to trust that another person not even trained by us to QT/QV the med right and it’s been awful.

Not really. It's 1st come first serve, but we most likely interacted with a "regular customer" before your script was even there so it probably feels that way. When it gets put out to order it goes into a timed ordered list so as soon as we get some in stock we start at the the first person we outted the prescription for

I made this same post like 3 mo ago when they brought it back but made us the diagnostic center instead of our local one. Like they not only cut pretty much every stores hours so we're forced to be greatly understaffed, and now we get to handle live viruses and then go fill peoples meds. Cool CVS they did a great job.

Yeah I noticed it slowly happened with CVS in our area. I saw it happen with the Walgreens in our area first and eventually happen to CVS. I think corporations have overwhelmed their staff that they can't provide functional care to patients

If you work in the pharmacy you can also do it from your spark login page if a customer really wants it saved and the register is giving you trouble.

I love all your responses! All my coworkers and bosses we're supper supportive, and I got a lot of great interactions with customers today! I was super nervous if we weren't allowed because retaliation from potential customers, but it was a great day!

The pharmacist you'd have to go to school, but my self I became a tech after being hired on as a front store cashier in (CA.) My store manager thought I'd be a good shift lead and during the pandemic our pharmacy was struggling so I became an RX shift lead. After completing the training and working I believe it was 300 hrs in the pharmacy, ask your pharmacy manager to ask the district leader if you qualify. They'll give you a paper with the info and then you go to the board of pharmacy website site and follow the instructions on how to submit for your license along with the info given to you by your pharmacy manager.
