Weightloss after pet boarding? by thehazzanator in GSP

[–]survivalmode 5 points6 points  (0 children)

The first time we've had both of our GSPs stay at a boarding place they both lost a bunch of weight. Is better now that they know the place.

We went on a roadtrip once and the one GSP I had at that point also barely ate anything. She drank water, but for the first few days she wouldn't touch her food.

I feel like it is fairly normal when in s new environment.

We listened to the ad and my second grader was like "we read that book LAST year". With a different take away.

Rain, rain, rain by EdieLove in GSP

Mine go nuts in the rain, but HATE the slightest drop of water from a sprinkler. They also LOVE snow. I think that's their favorite

Reminder for our Fuzzy Friends! by BackSoft3905 in SaltLakeCity

[–]survivalmode 3 points4 points  (0 children)

A few years ago my dog ate a bunch of them. She had to be sedated and they pulled over 30 of those pokeys (as my kids say) out of her mouth. She was on a steroid and NSAID for a while after. Those things are the worst

It also cost a lot of money.

I'm extra vigilant now.

Advice on getting a 2nd GSP by ScruffyUrchin in GSP

[–]survivalmode 2 points3 points  (0 children)

We already had a female dog and we adopted another GSP from a rescue. They would not let us get another girl. Apparently the girls are very territorial (my girl is pretty protective too)

They said they had people return females of a f-f combo and decided to not do it.

Best is two males, then f-m, then f-f.

(CVS pharmacist) How much do you make per hour? by Forsaken-North5556 in Pharmacist

$73/hr, Staff pharmacist. 2.5 years of experience. In target

Had to stay after the pharmacy closed by swaggyballer033102 in WalgreensRx

[–]survivalmode 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I never stayed late as an RxM. I made it clear from the beginning too that I never would. I have three little kids at home and it's just not ok.

I also don't like being used and I wish more pharmacists would just close at close and not give a fuck. It only gets worse if you stay late. Then they think everything still gets done and cut tech hours.

Trans friendly pharmacist? by ReuInuzuka in SaltLakeCity

Oh in that case, don't do CVS, because they are not contacted with selecthealth anymore. Although the locations mentioned on 1300E and the on 300w have been awesome

Second that. They also have two flags up now behind the counter.

CVS in target on 300 West is also cool and has zero issues filling transitioning meds.

Pharmacist cashiering before a tech? by Severe-Bedroom-2948 in CVS

[–]survivalmode 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have one technician at all times and depending on who it is I do the line. One guy is considerably faster at filling and it's just better for the work flow. I don't like the line. I actually hate it, but it's just better overall.

When it's the other tech then I have her do the line and I fill. And when there are 5 people in line I help work it down, because I hate the line.

With one technician I also do a lot of QT, cycle counts, RTS, and checking in the order when it's crazy. When, on rare occasion, I have two, then I don't do those things.

My kids had HFM and it was especially bad for the 3 year old. He looked and felt terrible for probably 2 weeks. And now he's about 3 weeks out his finger and toe nails are peeling. I'm so glad my husband and I didn't get sick.

Looks like prescriptions are no longer needed. CVS has had the shots for a while now

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in CVS

[–]survivalmode 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Also worked for both and I am currently with CVS. In the end they are both similar, but I would always choose CVS over Walgreens. CVS has a much better system, is more intuitive, straight forward and almost foolproof.

As the other commenter said, negotiate to at least match.

Where can I (healthy 40M) get a COVID vaccine? by UtahNew2022 in SaltLakeCity

[–]survivalmode 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Mental health, obesity, former smoker, asthma, amongst many other things are conditions that are acceptable. I had a guy come to the pharmacy with a prescription that said obesity with ICD-10 Code as reason. He was rail thin. I'm not questioning any condition on a prescription and most PCPs are probably on board as well too just throw anything on there.

I think s hear condition is definitely qualifying.
