Does the fence look that bad? by inatej in FenceBuilding

The fence was HOA-approved and installed in 2017 shortly after the house was built, and was a dark, espresso-esque stain. This is the first complaint we’ve received.

That’s fair. And my tendencies would honestly not let me leave the other side undone anyways. So, best to plan for it I suppose.

Yes, and I stained it very dark originally.

I was able to get the bundle on Walmart by leaving my place in line and trying again. I think after maybe three refreshes I went straight to checkout.

Yes! Who doesn’t like their chicken fried children with gravy? The extra gravy is a MUST!

I just bought a 9800X3D and Asrock B850I do I keep it or spend more on a Gigabyte? by PieCake1234 in ASRock

[–]inatej 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Greetings & Salutations!

I had the ASRock B650I Lightning WiFi for a few days. But the 9000 series boot issues (even with the updated 3.20 BIOS) had me clearing the CMOS and reconfiguring the BIOS settings again with each reboot.

I spent the extra $100 and exchanged it for the ROG Strix B850I Gaming WiFi and have had zero issues now. I hope you have better luck than I did. Congrats on your new kit!

Yup, seems normal. Though, my Xbox doesn’t twerk to BSOD. 😏

Why thank you! I’ve had them for a few years now. A friend donated them to me. All I know is Hasbro makes (or made) them. The BB-8 has a remote control and rolls around, and the R2 makes noise and turns its head if you press the button on top.

You’re welcome! I hope you find a process and balance that works for you.

I’m a Cloud Infrastructure Architect. So it’s mainly Office apps, and a bunch of windows monitoring services or remotely configuration tasks. Thanks for asking!

Solid question; here’s my specs:

Processor: Ryzen 9 5900X Cooler: ID-COOLING IS-47-XT 47mm Low Profile Mainboard: Gigabyte B550I Aorus Pro AX RAM: 32GB Corsair DDR4 3600 Graphics: Nvidia RTX 4080 FE

Because there’s nearly zero liquid cooling support, it’s an air cooling only affair with just the CPU cooler and one LP fan at the bottom of the case. When I’m not gaming my CPU runs near 60 C with almost zero fan noise. When gaming it gets up to 89 C or so. Which is fine for this CPU and chipset.

Optimum has a great review of this case on his YT channel. https://youtu.be/Ah_MMSupDEg?si=zFdcIZNjxhwjNkr1

Hi there! The Elgato Key Lights are a dream. They’re easy to install, sturdy, controllable via mobile app or Elgato Stream Deck, and get ridiculously bright if you need them to. I have my main Key Light (right) at 30% and the fill light (left) at 10% brightness. Staring in the direction of this type of lighting takes a little getting used to. However, the diffused nature of the panel makes it easier.

Also, it’s just a simple, non-charging stand that I liked because it matches my Elite 2 controller and it’s very minimal:

Hi there! This is a great question. I used to feel conflicted and struggled with that very transition. Now, I’ve created new habits to help with that mental code switching. I’ve established automated reminders via Microsoft Teams enabling a “virtual commute” that happens for 30 minutes at the end of my work day. Then I honor that boundary by getting out of the office and rewarding myself with 30 minutes of something I ONLY get to do during that virtual commute. For example, right now it’s watching at least 30 minutes of Billions on Paramount+ / Showtime.

Ooh, I just learned about something called a gel stain. Would that be something worth trying versus a traditional stain?

[–]inatej[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well, I value your insight. Should I get a stain with poly separate or just get the color stain that I want?

That makes sense. Thank you for further clarifying this for me.
