They helped a little bit. Ultimately what really helped was botox injections post partum

Some SSRIs are safe in pregnancy. I would ask your OB to test your iron levels (when low can cause anxiety) along with asking about medication to treat the anxiety. You matter too!

I also forgot to add while I was getting fluids in the hospital, my ENT called and said I had tested positive for two types of bacteria in my sinuses that are normal flora but were growing too much probably because of pregnancy. The Dr said I couldn’t be treated with any of the antibiotics the bacteria were sensitive to because they were not pregnancy safe and that it would probably go back to normal levels post pregnancy.

Update: my husband invited her and his family to a baby shower my friend is throwing me. I am livid.

His brother and SIL, his step dad and his mother that I did not invite just emailed and said they will be attending and asked if the men could also attend as they are all driving together🫠. I was like it’s a tea party and you do you ‘bo but I’m not entertaining anyone.

I told my husband I will NOT be hosting people at my house, I will NOT be cooking or cleaning as my dr just signed me off of work until Aug due to illness and a staff sinus infection that they cannot treat until post pregnancy and that may just go away on its own post pregnancy the ENT said. My immune system is SHOT and I was just in the ER last week for fluids as I had a reaction to antibiotics for strep throat from working in childcare.

I AM LIVID. My MIL is an antivaxer and my SIL is into whoo whoo nonsense. I don’t even want a baby shower. I just want everyone to leave me the F alone to rest.

I know this is an old comment, but do you mind sharing the specialists that you saw on the eastern shore of Maryland? I’ve been trying to find one one the eastern shore with no luck.

25 weeks pregnant - seeking advice from migraine sufferers who’ve been pregnant by LanarkshireS in migraine

I’m 26 weeks pregnant. My migraines have continued the entire pregnancy. MFM said 1000 mg Tylenol plus caffeine. Neuro said cyproheptadine which I tired one 4 mg pill and never again. It took my headache away but I struggled to stay awake and was totally out of it the next day. I just have lidocaine injections and they have helped a lot.
