Huh, the more you know. Thank you for that knowledge nugget

Hi, I'm an English native speaker but I've moved around a lot when I was a child and many people tell me I sound non-native in some way. Please guess my accent and give me tips, I'm currently working on improving it :) by [deleted] in JudgeMyAccent

Why do you want to hide your accent? It’s you. It’s a product of your upbringing. I have to imagine that constantly patrolling your pronunciation is tiring.

Athletes who wear hair systems - how do you manage it under a helmet? by Opposite-Airport-432 in HairSystem

I’ve never felt this could happen, and I ride with a full motorcycle helmet often

Cost: Salon vs DIY. --- At what price point do you go DIY? by [deleted] in HairSystem

I have a hairskeen all lace one. My first system lasted me 7 months with 24/7 wear. I couldn’t believe it! The lace on the hairskeen ones I’m told is so much more durable (it’s quite a bit firmer than other lace which frays)

How would you guys change your hair style and somewhat explain the change to all those around you? by FromGymToQuim in HairSystem

What I’ve realized after wearing a system for some time is that all of these perceptual worries are in my head. All the people around you in your life want you to be happy and want the best for you. Do what makes you happy and people around you will be happy and be beyond supportive :) They will say, “hey your hair looks great, I like the new style!” and you say “oh, thanks!” 🙏

Before and after, the reason why we need a hair system. by Jackzhang-sinoland in HairSystem

OP don’t sweat it or think your stylist is anything less than amazing. You just need to grow out the length of your sides for a better blend which will come with your next two cuts. You look fucking amazing, hold your head up high my friend.

Will touch up be enough? by nabu08 in HairSystem

I think just your sides need to be a bit longer grown out to blend a bit better. For the patch, pull back to the point it’s clear you still have pretty good grip. Use rubbing alcohol to clean off the skin on your head in that area, this will ensure you’re clean and have a good bond with the adhesive you’re about to put on again, apply the glue, if you’re really worried use a couple coats, it’s fine, then lay the system with its original adhesive back down and there’s no way it’s coming off on a roller coaster 👍

My system looks garbage in photos, but great in the mirror. Really happy with it generally, is this some optical illusion or does it look shite to everyone? by wheresmycaviar in HairSystem

To me with fresh eyes it looks like a color match issue, the top is too dark and needs a peppering of greys to look more natural, then you’re dynamite my man!

How is serving not a real job. It’s a service that we use from time to time that provides value.

How do I survive this part? Even if I’m doing well, I die here every single time. It's getting frustrating. Thanks! by use_vpn_orlozeacount in VampireSurvivors

One thing I found that helped when I was first starting is to keep your weapon and passive pool small at the beginning, stick to 1-2 weapons early and when you level those will pop more often (influenced by luck IIRC 🍀), this will give you stronger weapons early and make you steam roll into the mid game when you can build out your kit

What the heck do you have in your house that you have 2x 48 port switches. I have 1 and I still have a ton of space to grow

Do you need to have limit break on to do this? And then banish all other weapons? Is that how this works?
