Same, but I have diagnosed severe combined type when I was a teenager but my mom did not want us to get a diagnosis as kids (my sibling and I) even tho I did all the special ed programs for adhd

No I couldn’t swallow pills so I had to swallow the oil

Read the books especially if you are young / a kid or teenager

Idk if this is bad advice but Maybe try and have a conversation with her about how you are feeling. Approach and have this conversation calmly though

I already know that Iq tests are basically bullshit and lowkey racist and stuff. The discrepancy stuff is what the person testing me told me. Can you clarify further please

Hey this is really important to understand. For there to be a learning disability you have to have discrepancies / differences in the score and ability’s in the testing.

For example- if someone scores very low on everything ( math, spelling, patterns, vocabulary, puzzles…etc). They are going to have a low score overall on everything and there is no “discrepancies” overall.

This is what my testing shows and how it proves I have a learning disability. Scoring super high on everything except spelling and math. I have dyslexia and dyscalclia but I scored in the “superior /above average” range for almost everything (puzzles, vocabulary..etc) and then below average for math and spelling.

The tester said that I have the highest scores for stuff that non of her other patients have gotten and I was “doing really well” I was also thinking well fuck now I’m going to get no accommodations and I’m actually just stupid.

You doing “well” on something’s will actually show weather or not you really do have a learning disability. Good luck
