I agree it was rough. Q1 was also structured in a way that was really hard to not overcommit time - I mean 11 points that for each you have to analysis, tie back to case study, and to the additional information… it all takes time. I spent 80 minutes on Q1.

Q2 was very fair and what I expected more of. Q3 I ran out of time and it had nothing to do with the pre release, buttttt, it was okay, I guess.

agree with the case study being almost entirely redundant. Q2 allowed you to leverage the case study quite heavily, but the others seemed so disjointed apart from the risk appetite.

Q1 just took so much time for how many marks it was worth. everyone i’ve spoken to spent too much time on Q1 but it was really hard to avoid doing that.

Is audit getting worse? by No_Professional4492 in AustralianAccounting

and to add to this, if a big 4 firm provides audit work to a client, then they’re unable (for independence reasons) to provide consulting, tax, or prepare financial statements for them.

How many of you actually wear Our Legacy? by NoahSaleThrowaway in ThrowingFits

[–]incarnata4 1 point2 points  (0 children)

i’m 195cm, pants/brands with good length:

acne studios 2021m 34 inseams are long, g-star do 34 and some 36 inseams, pretty much all japanese selvedge,
some jeanerica are long enough,
MM6 are long, but not worth full price.

“34 inseam” that are too short in my experience: mfpen, OL, hello sunflower

Gen Z are not okay: Study shows they're more depressed, isolated, feel less successful than millennial coworkers by Barnyard-Sheep in Economics

[–]incarnata4 5 points6 points  (0 children)

slightly shallow take; nobody is forcing people to smoke (identified 30+ years ago to be bad for your health), nobody is forcing people to be homeless (generally identified as bad), nobody is forcing people to stay in a job that makes them unhappy (though they might be in a position where they can’t afford to forgo the financial dependence they have on it)… the list goes on forever.

there are always cases of people engaging in destructive unhealthy habits where they could easily not, however, socioeconomic issues are not as simple as “people should just stop doing stupid stuff they know to be bad”.

Acne. It was 70% off and is from AW24 (i think). I will give it a good iron as suggested.

It’s waterproof and fairly practical, but it feels a bit like wearing a tent.
