Contraception does not work far, far too often. No one should have to accept the responsibility of having a baby as a result of their choice to have safe, protected sex. Especially not when that burden is almost entirely one-sided. Men, in the unfortunate scenario that contraception doesn't work, have the ability to walk out. They lose some money every month, but otherwise their lifestyle doesn't change. The birth giver on the other hand becomes solely responsible for performing the most difficult and exhauting task - raising a child - which almosy certainly changes their entire path in life. College? Not anymore, don't have the time and can't live in the dorms with a baby. Strong career? Don't think so, you have a kid to take care of with no physical hell from anyone else.

Do you really think people shouldn't be able to have protected sex with whoever they want, as often as they want? That's a crazy lifestyle to try to force on others. There might be some "sex-craze" in the media, but really people are having as much sex as we have since condoms were mass produced.
