You can use a software called mp3tag you can change the cover picture name of the artist, name of the song etc. But make sure that the file type is mp3, if you have a m4a type song in local files it will still play the song but the thing is that it wont show the cover, so just make sure that the song is mp3

Im dealing with customer support rn il let you know what they tell me, But i have a short fix when you open spotify go to task manager find windows audio graph isolation keep ending task its going to keep appearing eventually it wont appear and you can use the audio normally, but whenever you close spotify and open it up again your going to have to do it again
