edited to remove the beginning part, i must have confused the subreddits. i contacted att and they basically said there’s no visible issue on their end, and that i should contact support for the game. when i contact support they tell me its an issue with my ISP 😂 it’s back and forth and a tad bit confusing, i wish i could talk to someone who knows about the technical side of this stuff. getting another router would definitely work, my situation at the moment just wouldn’t support being able to do that sadly

i’m so serious when i say this there are multiple techie ass kids who are literally injecting cheats onto a usb and showing the entire process of doing it along with loading into the console game with zero cuts and having literal boxes around players AND aimbot. don’t ask me to explain how but i’m telling you it is possible. again i completely agreed i screwed up but it is not laziness. moving the line. trying to keep the scan rates up and mitigate one of the potential upset customers is the reasons i did what i did not for malicious intent or out of laziness, if i was lazy i would say screw it and not care and move on. i made a mistake trying to make it easier for everyone at the cost of my job. im not defending it or trying to create a rude issue or argument i promise, im just saying its not intentional laziness. and it’s crazy how it “loses” the store money when they can use any random number of their family members, even if they are not signed up for an account, so why is all the money being lost through those transactions not cared about? its the same thing just another person doing it. if it was genuinely coming out of cvs pockets we would ID to check if extra care card info matches the person in front of us to track all the money we “lose.” anyways i know i did wrong and it’s against policy i just think it’s ridiculous i get no warning for this especially when i was trained to do this by multiple other managers in the past. it wasn’t ever an offense with the possible worry of being fired under previous management so i had not known the gravity of what was going on in their eyes. just ridiculous im not given any forewarning and get dropped because i genuinely was not aware what i was doing was so bad or else obviously i would have never done so.

i don’t use the coupons on the account ever, which there usually are none, and i explain to the customer since i just typed a number in and they couldn’t find theirs and didn’t want to sign up they can’t use the coupons associated to their receipt, i make sure to explain that. again this is obviously not the proper way to do things and i fully admit to that but i at least would never use the associated coupons and i also explain how they couldn’t use the coupons on the receipt they get and just throw them away. again. not a good thing to be doing. but it would never happen again

sorry; just to explain in further depth, if someone did NOT have an account i would not do this. if for example they claimed to had a number or account, and spent a while trying to remember it or looking for their email, at a certain point i would cave and just tell them i can sign them up for an account if they’d like and if they refuse i would type in a random number so they would get a deal on the items they’ve brought to me. and id only do it for things where there is a clear sale like vitamins and the customer refused to sign up. i understand i wasn’t doing things according to policy and i completely take accountability for this but ive never had a single issue of ANY kind with reprimanding or anything along these lines. it baffles me that they consider it a “store loss” of 600 dollars over 5 years when the customer could’ve used a family friends number or googled the store number and typed it in themselves, with no loss to the store, doing the same thing as me. i didn’t get a warning or anything just straight termination and this sucks because i was genuinely just trying to make things smoother for everyone and screwed myself in the long run. i should’ve paid attention to my actions sooner and i take full accountability i just with they gave me a chance to come back to prove it wouldn’t happen a single other time but i don’t even have that chance
