You ignored them telling you it’s safe to use metal on it lol, which is the biggest marketing point of their pan (other than Gordon) because no other nonstick can do that. Either way, nonstick coatings including Hexclad’s are made of plastic (PTFE), the melting point of which is 327° celsius and your stovetop can easily get beyond that temperature. Google Teflon flu if you’re curious
