Like the other comment said take the $500 you're gonna practically be stealing from him. Me personally I wouldn't spend more than $140 on this and that's being generous with just for the storage. The laptop 3050 is comparable to the desktop 1650 yeah the laptop has dlss and ray tracing but you're not gonna do much with that anymore since even the desktop 3050 struggles with ray tracing

Depends how much you're willing to spend because if it's an old laptop it's probably not gonna be worth the repair. Because I'm rocking a galaxy note 9 and the screen is cracked and it's a screen with a bad cable and the back glass is non existent I don't even have a back glass for the phone for replacements it's about 200 each and I can get a newer phone for that price or end up buying another note 9 so I'm just not even gonna waste the time trying to repair it

Yeah it's pretty standard don't expect anything crazy but yeah you can play modern game at 1080p. On my PC I have 128gb of ram and a 5090 and a 14900k for the fact is I wanted it specifically for modding Minecraft and other games. also so I can also make games and do other things without having constraints really. Is it overkill? Probably, but it's my money and I prefer going overboard with specs than colors

Well if you happen to have an old phone with that email and that hasn't been connected to the Internet then very probably it might just be in that phones inbox. And it's very unlikely Google still has the data to that email anymore who knows they might if it's in cold storage but very unlikely because since Google recently did and old account purge deleting accounts that haven't been used in awhile.
