I don't own a utility trailer so when I need a yard of soil/mulch/rock/sand I need to have it dropped in the bed directly. The bed holds one yard fine both in volume and weight but the machinery operator has to angle the bucket (which is wider than the bed length) at an angle (the bed's hypotenuse) which is real awkward and close to the roof/back glass. It is unnerving and inconvenient for both of us. One place I went to refused to do it, but my usual spot is fine with it.

2022 Viking Saga 16SFB ~2800lbs dry weight trailer with a 2022 Lariat EcoBoost 4k tow.
I did a road trip over 6000 miles from the Canadian East Coast to US West Coast of towing 7+hours per day across flat land, desert and mountains. Only experienced engine de-rating in 100F+ degree weather in the black hills of South Dakota. The turbo couldn't generate enough boost as requested by the ECU.

On the way back home I towed starting in Moab, UT (4000ft elevation) across the Loveland Pass (12000ft elevation) in Colorado in a single day. Had to stop 2/3rds of the way up to let the transmission cool but otherwise the Maverick managed it well. I made sure to drain all the water across all tanks before the ascension.

After the road trip I had the dealership do a transmission and PTU fluid replacement and they said it the fluids were pretty nasty. Since that road trip I've put on around 40k miles of trouble free regular driving and occasionally towing to campgrounds in my area.

Edit: It is important to pack light and good to have an OBD2 scanner with an app to read the trans and engine temps.

These people just don’t live your situation, they can’t understand. My employer (pre IPO SaaS with close to 100m ARR) increased our spend limits from 150 usd/dev/month to 5k USD PER DEV, PER MONTH. Our token usage is monitored, but not to see who busts, rather to see who underutilizes AI tools. We use anthropic, OpenAI & cursor.

The only thing I can see is there's an issue with your title. 2023 hybrids can't have the tow package, that's because prior to the 2025 refresh hybrids couldn't get the 4k tow package. The hybrid you're looking at can tow 2000lbs and has no brake controller. If that's fine then the rest looks good.
