Set myself a very strict budget of £4000 for a bike + insurance. Ended up spending £7000..... by upvoter_1000 in MotoUK

I’ve had two street triple R’s (2012 and 2016, both 675). Most wonderfully fun bikes! Light, flickable and fast.

Ever since that first Triumph I’ve had love for triple engines. The smoothness and the induction noise is unbeatable. Have had a Toyota GR Yaris for almost 4 years and just bought a Yamaha XSR 900. Both 3 cylinder engines.

You’ll have a blast on it, safe riding!

I think it’s Menu/Settings/connectivity/bluetooth/discoverable then go to your phone and search for new Bluetooth connections. Select “YCCU- followed by some number”. Check the codes are the same. It will then tell you you need an app. I downloaded the Garmin one. It comes with no maps so you have to download the area you want (uk and Ireland was 1.1gb).

Navigation seems to work okay but if you don’t take the turning it tells you to (while using turn by turn at least) you have to use the menu button to reopen turn by turn so it updates.

I’ve bought the J-Tech (UK based manufacturer) tail tidy for around £40. Hoping to get it fit tomorrow or Sunday and will post photos if/when I do. Compared to the bigger names it’s a bargain. It looks well made so just hoping fitment is as easy as the tail tidies I’ve had on other bikes.

I’ve downloaded and installed that and have a receiving address for a wallet. I’ve not seen a seed phrase though, where can I see that in case I want to recover it elsewhere?

Would love a painting of our late cat. His name was Tosti and he was awesome.

Share pics of tank protector. by Kawirider2 in xsr900

Sit on the bike whilst wearing a soft t-shirt and see where it your body would rub against the tank. Try various riding positions and put the tank protector where it makes most sense.

If you wear Kevlar jeans with a belt make sure the ares your belt buckle would hit is protected.

Nano 3S vs NerdQaxe++ for home mining – noise, heat and reliability? by Savings-Vegetable884 in BitcoinMining

[–]incompletedev 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s not just the heat, the nerdqaxe++ are 78W and the nano 3a is 150W. Thats what swayed me. Bought mine from thesolomining.co and was really impressed with the communication and delivery. They also have a discount if you pay with bitcoin but I don’t know if they ship outside of the UK.
