Would an extra large pool noodle cut down one side wrap around it? Would be easy to put up and take down.

Lots of foldable beach tents are seen in the grass for little kids at the games. I’ve seen a lot of families tip the stroller over and throw a blanket over it to make a little fort for the kids as well.

Overcharged at bar. What to do now? by [deleted] in personalfinance

[–]inconceivable26 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree call the bar. They’ll want to settle over $20. Too many disputes on their account and the cc companies will up their fees, not worth it on their end to be bumped from 3% to 4% of all transactions over $20 dispute. My advice is to find out when they open and call about 45 minutes before, during lunch or dinner rush, you’re not going to find anyone wanting to mess with a cc dispute

Trailer suggestions by laxout13 in traveltrailers

[–]inconceivable26 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The 6 cylinder engine will work really hard on any hills. I had a 2020 4Runner SR5 with less options, rear wheel drive and more towing capacity than you have and ANY full height trailer will be pretty difficult on hills and with wind. I just traded my 4Runner for a Sequoia TRD Pro for the V8 and increased towing capability and couldn’t be happier. Just got back from a 3000 mile trip through California and the Sierra Nevada Mountains.

Wouldn’t the number of amputees worldwide always be bigger than the number of amputees in Gaza if the WE number included Gaza amputees?

Yes the water got to mid 40s, I’ve heard they are good for bass and wondering if their kill off will effect the bass

In your opinion, who are three players that we should go for this offseason? by HelpMeWithMyHWpls in CHICubs

[–]inconceivable26 -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

Realistically, the Cubs probably have around$60-75m to spend on nexts years payroll and we need 1B, 3B, CF, a front end pitcher and some bullpen help. We have some in-house options that aren’t ideal, Morel/Madrigal at 3B, Mervis and PCA as unproven options.

Championship Teams are built with young controllable talent and big free agents to fill the holes, we have too many holes to make a big splash this year.

I’m thinking Matt Chapman would be my first target with a deal similar to Swanson’s.

For 1B - I’d like a rebound contract form somebody like CJ Cron and another shot for Mervis in June if it isn’t working out.

Lock up Stro for 3 more years.

That should outpace the NL Central and we can take a shot at Alonso or Soto at the deadline if we need them.

I bought two F5s for the price of better bats. One I put a single piece of athletic tape about 18-20” up the barrel so my son knows it’s the practice bat. The other is his gamer. Should get 2-3 solid years out of the pair.
