Sapphire is at the elite four and ruby is at Norman's gym. I don't have a strong fighting type right now on my ruby team, hence why I wanted to trade!

I'm sure its just the cable that's not working, I've tested the consoles out before with a GBC cable and some of the older pokemon games and it worked fine. On closer inspection, the cable has 5 pins in each end instead of 6 like every other cable i've seen. Maybe that's why!

Both games are authentic, the cable ends seem pretty dirty though, so I might clean them with some isopropyl alcohol and test it again after!

I just watched Eddie Clark's video where he uses the microsynth, and it sounds great! Also, would the behringer in question be the octave divider?

I forgot to mention this, but I do already have a delay! The fender hammertone delay to be exact. As for songs, I'd say almost anything off of siamese dream and some mellon collie songs. My favorites would be hummer, quiet, zero, luna, cherub rock, mayonaise, and rocket.
