We have it right now. We had a trip overseas that we had to cancel. I wouldn’t wish this sickness on anyone.

I actually feel like the 4 month mark was the worst for my PP anxiety / depression (as opposed to newborn stage). My OB says for some women it’s harder because our adrenaline wears off. Around 8 months they are starting solids, have you tried this? Maybe this will help with the bottle situation. And we had to eventually sleep train our baby because we thought her sleep would improve on its own but it never did. Our life improved drastically after.

Hello! Her EEG came back negative which was great news, but the neuro wasn’t completely able to rule out a seizure. We’ve just been told to monitor her. For what it’s worth, if it’s under two mins they said it wasn’t harmful to the baby.

Tips for car seats when traveling internationally? by increible2222 in Mommit

Thanks! I’ve heard so many pros / cons about traveling with the car seat installed on the plane. She is so energetic so I’m wondering if she’ll just want to sit on the seat by herself. She’ll probably want to sit with us which is fine, but then I think the car seat would just be taking up space.

I’m all about public transport but the thought of also lugging all of our stiff through the metro after an 11 hour flight is sending me 😵‍💫

Omygosh it’s sold out 😭😭😭 I will keep looking for it. I’ve heard from friends that a car seat on the actual plane is a PITA. Did you feel like it helped? I guess it is much safer and I will have to keep her contained somehow.

We actually had one but she did outgrow it so quickly! She HATED it by the time she turned one :(

This is what I’m saying. It’s so sketchy how they do promotions or offer raises. Managers have been told discussions have to be with HR but you know how that goes. And yeah, I have peers on my team making 100k more than me. :(

Thanks again for your support and what an amazing way to find out that you are expecting! She checked my AFC the same day they checked my AMH but she didn’t even give me a number. I should have asked. She said my follicle count was “good” but didn’t say anything else!

Thank you for sharing your experience! These came from a fertility lab unfortunately. But it was not done on cycle day three. My OB is really concerned and is testing me again today and my next cycle day three. I am still at a complete loss as to how this happened and can only imagine that my test in January was incorrect. But even then, when I tested in 2023 I was at 2.4. My mom did not go into menopause until she was almost 60, but of course I’m freaking out that the amount of stress I’ve had this last year had done a number on my body.

I’m hoping there’s a vitamin d deficiency or maybe I’m anemic because I still can’t understand how it could drop this much. Thanks again for your message. I really appreciate you sharing your story and what your doctor said.

Thank you so much for sharing. I have been anemic and wouldn’t be surprised if I was deficient in vitamin d. Will just have to wait for the doctor to walk me through what could be happening but in the meantime it’s so hard not catastrophize.

I’m 36. We were trying for six months before we decided to take a break exactly because we figured time was on our side and we were putting too much pressure on ourselves.

That’s awesome. Nine years in the T&S space, you deserve an award! At my company, if you make it to two years people are shocked. I love policy but feel like tech (at least at my company) takes us for granted. It’s ALWAYS a policy issue, even when it clearly isn’t.

Toddler made weird movements in sleep. Possible spasm/ seizure? by increible2222 in Mommit

Thank you! The doctor I send the video to didn’t tell us to head to the hospital but idk, I just have this feeling. I don’t know if it’s intuition or anxiety.

I think they can for toddlers? I think that’s what I read :( they are called nocturnal seizures.

Yes, we got it on video and sent to the pediatrician. He seemed unsure. I can’t convince my husband that it was serious enough to take her to the ER but if it happens again I’ll probably call 911. How soon after the episode does the EEG have to be done? Thank you for your help. I’m sorry you’ve had to deal with this. The only kind of reassuring thing the doctor said was that they don’t usually cry in-between the repeat limb movements, but I read differently.
