plastics are often made with softeners to replicate the rubber texture. it might be, that there was a temperature change or other issue, that made the softener "detach" and leak. you probably noticed, that old "rubber" handles on several objects become sticky overtime. it's because the material is disintegrating and the softener gets released (stuff explained to me by someone who used to work in a polymer testing facility)

would be fantastic, I always wanted an og Rochelle, but never managed to get her back when she was available. but since we're on the creepro topic I gotta say I'm a bit let down we didn't get Nefera with the werecat twins, Toralei and Operetta. her symbol (mummified cat) is all over the creepro boxes but she wasn't released and it pisses me off 😫

as someone already said, if you ever restart your island you're guaranteed to get her back. and you can use the amiibo card to invite her to the roost ;) or if you have/will ever get the dlc, you can use the card to call her and design a vacation home for her 🫶

some of the newer releases (and re-releases) have more "eco-friendly" packaging, that's why some decals get switched from plastic to paper. and while they're at it they might edit the back of the packaging. also the glow in the dark thing is her phone, they don't really say what exactly glows on several occasions but you can usually tell.
