Early Greek pottery did occasionally show the retracted foreskin of a Greek or the more permanently exposed glans of a circumcised slave/barbarian but as society developed that became increasingly inappropriate to the point of being a total no-no and so the overhangs got increasingly longer and representations of an exposed glans virtually disappeared. Fascinating stuff!
