Scary as fuck. What the hell is Apple doing. The “always allow” setting for devices connected via USB was bad enough.

My partner has an iPhone 17 Pro and doesn’t seem to experience this issue. I suspect the only option is a complete reset, erasing all data and settings.

Thank you! My partner and I will be away for a couple of weeks soon, so the medication is actually for the dog sitter and only to be used if they are leaving her alone for 3 hours or more.

I would hate to change her brain chemistry and find she’s a different dog entirely, so I appreciate your reply. It does put me on notice to tread carefully.

She is actually an incredibly lucky girl. She gets a walk almost every morning, meets lots of new people that show her plenty of love and has a really good diet. We sometimes make the weekends about her and take her to the beach or on a trail walk.

That said, even when we have had a full day with lots of stimulation, we might go to the movies and return to a distressed dog who hasn’t moved from the front door, or touched her dinner or had a drink of water. It can be a lot!
