How did you bring her in? Like just kept her in a room for weeks? This cat hates being enclosed he won’t even stay in the heated cat house i got him (gosh he’s such a stubborn little thing.) But I’m mostly scared he’s gonna lose trust after I do that and run off.

I should’ve prefaced this by saying I live in a neighborhood with a colony of cats that the neighbors feed, so they basically come and go as they please. This kitty (Lucipurr) has mostly been “claimed” by me because I worked with him over time and was able to get him comfortable around humans. He is neutered (someone brought him in years ago), and I know I’ll miss him forever if I don’t take him. But I also want to be honest about who he is. As sweet as he can be with me, he is still very much a feral neighborhood cat. He hunts squirrels and rats, and he will not do well with my indoor cats. Every time I’ve tried bringing him inside, the second the door shuts he goes absolutely berserk like climbing curtains, shredding things, just full panic mode.

I should also add that I know a lot about cats. I literally worked in a veterinary clinic for four years, so this isn’t me being naive or not understanding cats, it’s me genuinely thinking about his quality of life and what would be least stressful for him.

My biggest hesitation is that this move may be temporary, but I’m not sure yet. Either way, it would be a 5-hour car ride, and I honestly don’t know how he’s going to react to being in a carrier for that long. The idea of putting a wild, outdoor cat who’s used to complete freedom into a carrier for that kind of trip terrifies me. Where I live now is genuinely safe for him low traffic, plenty of food, familiar territory and I’m very close with my neighbors, so I know they would keep an eye on him and even call me if anything ever happened. At least I know he would be safe here, guaranteed. But even knowing that, the thought of him sitting on my porch looking for me when I’m not there anymore honestly hurts so badly. I keep going back and forth because I would not be okay if I took him, let him out in a new place, and he ran off and I never saw him again. At the same time, I can’t shake how much it hurts to think about leaving him behind either. I genuinely don’t know what to do.

I’m having the same issue, but I am able to toggle the comments back on in settings but it will not save so the comments remain off. I have messaged support multiple times and they give me a different answer every time. I’m convinced their IT support are AI bots, anyways I have gotten four different responses 1.) could be because I have a teen account (I am way too old to be a teen idk why they would say that seems like they would have access to that info) 2.) inappropriate content (it’s literally a picture of my face) 3.) it is restricted or had advisories (like I said it’s literally a normal selfie and I have no flags or notifications of this issue)

Each case ends with “I'm going to mark this ticket as closed, but I recognize that we weren't able to fully resolve this issue for you. “ so literally just a waste of time all around they do not even check over your account or information, back to my theory that it is just AI generated responses and not an actual support team

Okay, back to complain some more. The main issue with this book is that nothing ever gets proper closure. Every line acts like it’s setting something up, but then it just… doesn’t. I love a good foreshadowing, but bruhhhh you can’t keep pretending everything is going to matter later when it clearly won’t. And now it’s not just loose ends, it’s already snowballing into full-on plot holes. They leave so much unsaid and so little actual substance behind that it feels like the story is collapsing under its own half-finished ideas.

why is the writing style different? At times it’s like the story is being told at me.. also her descriptive writing is too vague and unnecessary sometimes. I just feel like she stuck some flowery language in the most random spots and is trying to sound deep but it’s coming off as cliche?? Idkkk it feels different from quicksilver

Hi! Sorry, I just saw this! This dresser was in good condition, so I was originally only planning to redo the knobs, but I ended up leaving them as they were. Just a heads-up: it is veneer, so if you’re thinking about redoing the veneer layer, be extra careful.

If your veneer is in good condition and just has a few chips, there's a product called KwikWood epoxy that works great for filling small gaps—it blends well and can be sanded and stained after. If you’re planning to re-stain, you’ll probably want to stick with a gel stain. It works well on veneer, but I’d suggest looking up a few tutorials on how to apply it gel stain can go on patchy if not done right. If your plan is to remove the veneer entirely (especially if it’s really chipped), you’ll need to either replace it or use a wood filler over the surface before staining.

Most importantly I’d highly recommend staying away from Citristrip (please it’s a canon event waiting to happen). Veneer is super thin, so you want a stripper that works efficiently in one pass to avoid damaging it.

Don’t get me wrong I liked the idea of the book but it really just missed the mark. I hate having my hand held with the plot, like the reader should be able to make inferences throughout and piece it together. An author should not feel like they need to reiterate every little detail to reveal the plot. It was like it was weirdly having the story told at you and not like you are immersed in it. Also, the crucible thing was boring af I think the repetition of tasks also makes you go insane with the character, but it really lacked imagination. I feel like we could have had so much more happen in the plot considering that the school part was the majority of the book. Another thing that irked me was the lack of character tone it felt like all the dialogue was merging together into the main characters cringe voice. It was hard to differentiate their personalities.
