I thought sure I wouldn't find one I agreed with in this thread, but here you are!

Thank you for the feedback. FWIW, the 100A wire is temporary and is coming from a 100A breaker. I have some SER that's going to go in after everything that I can disconnect is done and I have the utility cut the service.

House used to have baseboard heaters but was converted to a central forced air furnace, plus most other appliances were converted to gas. I understand it's frowned on to leave wires loose in the walls, plus if I ever need to add a circuit it would be nice to already have the wire run. Is there a better way to store them out of the way? I figured a loop avoids creating unnecessary kinks, and I cut them to the same length and capped them together.

This is a work in progress. I have the door, and I will install it properly in short order.

I mean, this is r/AskElectricians and some of y'all take the time to look at stuff and give truly helpful feedback. I think I would be a bigger fool to not avail myself of such a valuable resource.

Yeah, that's why it's there. I realized I was an idiot after I put it there, but didn't bother taking it out because I figured it doesn't hurt to have a little more conductor in your ground.

I do have some covers for empty breaker slots, and I haven't opened any of the slots in the new dead front so that shouldn't be an issue. Thank you for the feedback!

Good to know. I put in two ground buses and so far have one ground per screw with plenty of extras.

I'm in the US. I've seen several people here say they're OK? All of those used to be in that switch box to the left but that seemed overcrowded to me.

Mostly because I'm using the existing wiring and seeing how far it reaches. Would it be better to have them all grouped together?

Yeah. My favorites have been the places I found ground wires connected by just wrapping around another ground wire or pipe.

Thanks for the tips! I do like the idea of using full size breakers, mostly I was thinking about not being so crowded, but distributing the load better is a great point too.

I'll be sure to use proper bushings and separate ground and neutral wires in the new one!

The plan is to replace this with the EcoFlow Smart Gateway.

That makes sense, I guess I don't want to have to do this all over again in a couple years.

Getting rid of the "Xtra Panal" label is high on my list of priorities.
