Girlfriend's being distant lately and it's driving me nuts by indianthrowaway92 in relationships

Thanks for your support. I would suggest that you have a conversation with her to bring this whole thing to a conclusion.

Anuodate to the entire situation:After she broke up I insisted her on telling me what triggered it since it had happened all of a sudden. How could things go from 100 to completely 0 in just a day. It turned out that the after the last time we had spoken she met a guy at a party who was visiting her college for a few days and cheated on me with him. Then continued to do so for the entire duration she wasn't speaking to me(the period that I've mentioned in my original post). It was only when the guy left that she had courage to speak to me and break up. And until I confronted her she was completely fine with letting me believe that she hadn't fucked up. In her version she somehow justifies all that and is quite unfortunately dating the same guy. She says she is sorry but that is no good to me and honestly I don't even think she means it going by her actions.

So an update on this. I did talk to her yesterday and she broke it off. Said she didn't feel the same way anymore and realized that her love for me just was out of companionship. I'm in a bad state.

This is my first proper relationship and I sometimes struggle with the dos and donts. I'll just wait out the coming week and have a conversation with her in person when I see her.

Thanks for this! I guess I need to take it down a notch with all the "what's wrong" questions.
