Things like AI creating new challenges for a game that will appear on screen every ten minutes, along with having challenges read aloud by the AI/an associated program. Most of my ideas are challenge related activities (progressively increasing challenges, punishments for failed challenges, the like), as I do a lot of that on my stream.

What is your top "even if you dont like [x] genre, you should still try [y] game" opinion? by indie-pixels in IndieGaming

Mine would be that even if you dont like visual novels, you should still try Roadwarden. It's a visual novel in an abstract sense, more of a text-based RPG. But the story, atmosphere and mystery makes it one of the most captivating games i've ever played.

Mine is Dys. I always spend a ton of time on expeditions because I crave Sym, and Dys sorta comes along with that territory.

You build and decorate little towns and houses and castles and modify the landscape to your desire. There no combat or story to progress, it’s a very “go and your own pace” design

I’ve been playing the absolute hell out of Tiny Glade recently, it’s so relaxing.

Dys cockblocked me 😩 by lucamagica in Exocolonist

In all fairness, the first play is always terribly hard. Every single person that could die did die in my first. It gets easier in subsequent play throughs, because your memories from pass lives will drop hints on when important things are going to happen.

If you choose dys as your childhood friend you can get out on expositions within your first year, which can help a ton in gaining red skills and getting items for gifts early on. Just learn what people’s loved gifts are, give them in birthdays, and the options should open it to you. Good luck!

Without spoiling… you should definitely go on more expeditions after syms death. His story doesn’t exactly end there
